The "All Things Mayweather/Pacquiao" Express!!!!!!

The reason I don't buy it, is moonves appears to bea dude doing so much work in making this happen, if he doesn't fight manny they stand to lose more money.
This doesn't make sense to me either.

I agree with a few posters that pointed out that moonves stepped in cause showtime was in the red before. They want this fight cause it's much better than losing money, and the aftermath if they hold it up.

 

If they don't fight, it's Pacquiao vs Vargas/Khan, and Mayweather vs Cotto II. Since both fights will be in May, that lines up perfectly for a September clash. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

 

I really feel that its mayweathers fault that this fight hasn't happened but still

why wouldn't showtime want to make some profit out of this? I think they have lost $$ on Floyd's most recent fights, so they just wanna lose some more?

 

If floyd really wants this fight, it could have happened already. Even years before.

Correction, if Floyd had a boss, it would have happened. Otherwise, you're inadvertently admitting that Pacquiao having a boss is holding up the fight. You wouldn't do that, would you? :think

On a serious note, contrary to popular belief, that isn't ENTIRELY true. Whether or not he truly wants the fight (debatable), we know for a fact he wants to squeeze every penny out of it he can.

 

This is why I've always said Floyd just needs to shut up, because people will take everything he says and twist it to fit their agenda.

This was in direct response to when Arum made the claim that the fight would be a done deal by the weekend. Which was not only debunked by Floyd, but also Koncz and Espinoza. Remember when they said the networks still have issues to work out.

 

Floyd can not win even if he is the one who is not the problem the public will still blame him.

 

i dont buy any of it. everybody is going to make money out of this. there is no reason for stalling. arum says the mayweather side keeps bringing in other demands after arum crosses out others. floyds side never wanted the fight from the beginning
