Does Andre Ward have vision problems. He has bee wearing prescription glasses lately. He is also cross eyed if you look at him closely. And what's up with the droopy eye lids?

 

With such short notice there are not many LHW fighters who can make the weight limit in 25 days. Very dangerous and unsportsmanlike to do business like this.

 

They offered a 50/50 fight, 50/50 money and 50/50 weight. The whole purpose of that offer was that it was an even offer to open the negotiations. Ward's team should of immediately countered with 166 55/45 or 168 60/40, but they didn't, they stayed silent for weeks. Why would they not respond with a "no" or a counter offer? Don't you know how negotiations work?

They had to save face, so they came out with a BS offer of their own later, but only problem is that it was AFTER Golovkin announced his next fight.

Ward wanted 60% of the split coming off his inactivity. Then he went down to 50% but GGG had already been scheduled to fight Lemieux for a month. K2 told him that if he wanted 50% of the purse split he would have to shed 4 pounds. But this was horrible negotiating on both sides. And I doubt either were serious as they never sat down at a table to negotiate. They did the Twitter style negotiations.
