Thats just silly. What if a guy has a masters in S&C and only has background for example in a triple jump.He cant work with anyone except jumpers?
    Not logical at all.

    It's ridiculous.

It's like the same people that will take advice from the biggest guy in the gym and turn their nose up at scientifically based nutrition/training advice.

    No wonder
Here is my 2 cents worth, take the best of old school and new school and mix it up and come up with something that will make that fighter better.

I know enough to know that a beginner needs work on his skills, should I say it? A newbie doesn't need an S&C guy at the beginning of his career later on yes just not right now.
You are going to make a great S&C coach, cos argueing with you is like arguing about religion, no matter what I will say you will go back to your superior intellect, and scientific insights. Us no nothings rely on over two hundred yrs of getting guys ready to face whatever they put in front of him.

    Wow sarcasm detected.
Seriously i wish you all the best in you future trainings and fights.Im not gonna argue here and say this is better and that is bad.
I had enought of it.In my career i had at least 6-7 trainers that were saying weights are bad, punch wooden boards to make your fists strong,do 124124 push ups daily.
And then i go to the internet on forums to find an almost exact same thing.

I dont know where you are from Pecho, you must be from a big city to have access to 6-7 trainers. Hitting wooden boards reminds me of a Mexican fighter I once worked with. He was 18yrs old and was 18-0, 18ko's, his father an ex fighter himself, who had beaten Pipino Cuevas early in his career, made his own mitts, he pasted a circle of plywood on the hitting surface. He had two son's boxing and only the 18yr was a puncher. So much for that theory, look learn what works and what doesn't work and have an open mind, remember we all have the same goal to get our guys ready for whats to come.

I was at our countrys capital when i was at college.
That theory is for crazy people. But hey each one to their own.
If someone finds that banging their heads into a wall makes their chin better all the power to them.

your rants about weights making a person musclebound,
there is some truth to it
but lets look at the holy unquestioned topic of running

it can give you bad injuries to knees and ankles
    among other things.

also if you were too look at marathon runners, i am sure they are not the the strongest people out there lol
and i bet a bodybuilder can beat a marathon runner in boxing lol

but is running needed for boxing, yes
it is cardio training and is great if done in the right ways

    same for weight training
and please dont think any and all weight-s&c training is bodybuilding
    **** that is very annoying

Salvador Sanchez, conditioned himself the Mexican way at altitude and good old fashioned hard work, sparring, callistetics and sparring. He was always running the hills and mountains where he lived. He had a Dr Valenzuela who worked with him and on his stamina. Dr Valenzuela was an early S&C coach. Sanchez had savy old school guys who were open to new ideas and would bring in private doctors to camp to ck the fighters heart rate something they do now.
The best Mexican trainers, Cuyo Hernandez, Lupe Sanchez, Nacho Beristain, Pancho Rosales, Cristobal Rosas, Romulo Quiarte, all used private doctors, sports medicine guys. If I am not mistaken even before the '60's, there was a doctor ready to ck the heartrate of the fighters.
