....just took place in the UFC. Time to admit defeat and forget about org V org. MMA has moved on and the UFC is where it's at. I have had to learn how to put my hatred of Dana to one side and enjoy the fights and the fighters. I wish Pride had won the war but it didn't, I even prefered Strikeforce for a while there. The UFC is now MMA more or less, we have got to deal with it I guess.
I don't agree there, cause if the fight was under Pride rule, if would have been stopped in the third round cause Hendo would probably have used some knee to the head to finish Shogun !
yea it was like hearns vs hagler in boxing, or lebanner vs hunt in k1. Just ****ing trying to kill each other.
So was Fedor Nog. H2H i think it was certainly the better of the two. Definitly more significant at least.
I mean because people still view fighters as Pride fighters or UFC fighters, comparing how well the Pride guys fare in the UFC etc. These were two big name Pride fighters that should have squared off years ago but didn't get round to it until fighting under the UFC banner/rules.
Can people give it a rest about Pride already? For one, it wasn't the first, and for two, it held a number of fixed fights and was Yakuza orientated.
