The big German bills - PPV, Sports channel or terrestrial TV?

    I feel a mug this morning paying the main event, 2 supporting bouts live & some highlights of our Olympians

    The Huck fans in Germany - Did they have to open their wallets?

    I note FFN next week is from 8.00pm to 11.00pm - A long time for Broadhurst v Haskins build up, fight & analysis. I suspect I will get to see Alex Arthur then - for free

    No 100% free on german television. Get a cheapo digital satellite receiver and dish and you can also watch all the top fights from germany for free. Will cost you no more than £60 to buy the kit you need.

    Quite easy, just look which way sky dishes are pointing then rotate the dish to its right a bit with it hooked up to the receiver. Have the receiver set to 13E and as soon as the signal bars shoot up lock the nuts and hey presto. You could get someone to fit it for £20 or so if you dont fancy messing about. Well worth it for the german boxing. Next week they got the Vit fight for free as well.

    It's not only the German Huck fans who get to watch him for free. The Klitschko fans, Abraham fans (if I'm not mistaken) and Valuev fans, and possibly others, also get to watch their fights for free.

    Spot on, all these fights are free to air on german television. They even had the pbf hatton fight live for free on rtl.

    I just tried e-mailing a complaint to Sky, but on their form it only lets you send it if you leave the description box blank!

    Obviously German TV still makes money, presumably out of advertising. This contradicts all the arguments here about advertisers not being interested about our sport.

    Imagine Darren Barker v Danny Butler on ITV1 straight after X factor, rather than competing against X Factor on a platform only accessible to satelite and freeview viewers.

    YEAH SAT IS GREAT ITS PPV FOR KHAN VALUE PLUS SUBSCRIPTION

    Go to the other legal free sats and its nothing no subs no ppv but its in german lol
