Frankie has every skill in the book and let me tell you bodies don't mean a damn thing, He's a brilliant all round athlete, I consider myself a really good athlete with sprinting the only thing that Im below average at, Frankie is better than me at all and doble me in sprinting, He was also 1 of thebest runners and one of the fittest kids on the whole GB program. The kid is a serious serious fighter. I'll be dissapointed if he is not crowned world champion!! That is how highly I regard him. I wouldn't say that about any other fighhter either..:good Forget the body Rob and concentrate purley on the skills,fitness and heart of fighters cos that is what wins fights not bodies mate.If bodies won fights then Arnold Schwarznegger would have been P4P champ mate..:good
Its not really to do with have the muscles...just he looks like a kid still. In body and face if you told me he was 15 i wouldnt be shocked. I think Gavin can go to the top but he is a longer term project to others.
Name: Charlie Ota Record: 14-1-1 Overview: The Japanese-based American had very few amateur fights before turning pro. He started in the Welterweight division, and was fairly successful, getting himself ranked in the top 5 of the JBC (Japan Boxing Commission), but also suffered a couple of setbacks, losing to Takejiro Kato (current #2 Welter in Japan) by majority decision and drawing to Takayuki Hosokawa, a fighter he had beat in his pro debut. After the draw to Hosokawa he moved up to the Light Middleweight division, where he scored five straight stoppage victories. These victories included Yoshiharu Ikeda (JBC #7), Akihiro Furukawa (JBC #4) and another victory over Hosokawa. After this impressive run of form, Ota got himself into the number 1 position to challenge the Japanese (and OPBF) Champion Akio Shibata. In the fight, Ota struggled with the movement of Shibata early on, but his pressure eventually told as Shibata began to slow down in the later stages of the fight. In the 8th round, a big right hand shook Shibata who went down after a couple more punches landed. Although he got up, Shibata was clearly weary and Ota kept the pressure up to force the referee to stop the fight. Last fight: A split decision victory over Australian prospect King Davidson. Ota was dropped for the first time in his career in the first round, and was hurt badly. Luckily for him it was near the end of the round, otherwise Davidson could have stopped him. Although hurt, he came back strong in the next round with his pressure and work rate, which was the story for the rest of the fight. Davidson tried to box on the back foot, but he wasn't active enough to win the rounds. The Australian judge somehow scored the fight in favour of Davidson, but the other two judges got it right - a wide points decision for Ota. Who you want him to fight next: He is scheduled to defend his OPBF and Japanese title against 4-time Japanese Champion Tadashi Yuba. I think this is a good fight against a experienced operator, and if Ota gets through it, he might be ready to start looking for a 'world' title. Potential: I think he is pretty much at his level now. A solid OPBF champion, who may get himself a unlikely shot at a 'world' title if he continues to win.
Shawn Porter Gary Russell jr Sadam Ali Marcus Johnson. I think Russell and Porter have the skillsets to be potential world champions, I think Ali does, but he seems a bit more raw than the other two, defensively at least. I like Porter the most, he reminds me a little of Aaron Pryor, an aggressive, busy fighter, but a guy who has good Boxing skills to complement that, he also seems to possess the heart. Russell is an extremely fast southpaw, but patient with it, I guess you could say he is somewhat slick, although its hard to judge at this stage. Ali is a fluid Boxer with good foot & hand speed who likes to work the body and is pretty precise with his punches, he uses his legs a well to. My only concern, is that he is open to right hands, he seems to move straight back on the line when attacked, also, I would like to see how sturdy he is if someone drags him into a bit of a fight, Porter aint been a war, but he has been in fights where he has been hit, had to show his desire/heart. Johnson is a slick Boxer with fast hands, nice balance, good variety, although he has only really been tested once from what ive seen, against Derek Edwards, who himself, whilst not being established, is a very craft, slick fighter, infact he gave Johnson some issues with his old school style. Keep an eye out for Marvin Sonsona, I anticipate he will bounce back from he defeat to WV2(Vasquez jr), the kid seems like a murderous puncher for his weight.

Only 2 stoppages on his record which is his most clear flaw. He's got quick hands and good reflexes and I've heard a couple of people compare him to Floyd Mayweather? He's yet to be tested but is keeping active and hopefully we see him up against some more competitive opposition soon. Definitely a shame about the power, thats going to be a major hinderence. We've seen guys like Fewkes and Fehintohla that came through looking very decent but the power became a bit of an issue (as well as other things). He's got to try and look to replicate someone like Napa. He's good on his feet.
Name: Glen 'The Hammer' Foot Record: 3 - 0 (2 KOs) Overview: Top amateur star who fough in 2-3 ABA finals, can box well but likes to get stuck into the action. Worth watching his ABA final with Dudley O Shaunessey which was awesome. Has gone 3-0 since turning pro but hasnt feasted on deadbeats. Last fight: Solid Journeyman Dee Mitchell, according to sources he had the durable Mitchell rocked at one point but had to go the distance. Who you want him to fight next: If he continues the way hes going he should learn well and can gradually move up the British rankings, another solid journeyman type, would like him to get rounds behind him but not against easy prey. Potential: I think he'll definately go to British level, its too early to say how far he can go but the potential is there.

Though a pro since 2008 he has only been able to get out 6 times since then because of numerous hand injuries but now this appears to be behind him and he is looking to make up for lost time Last fight: A win over the more experienced Steve O'Meara over 6 rounds Who you want him to fight next: Warren is obviously looking to fast track Selkirk to a title as shown by the opposition he was put in with in only his 6th fight. i would like to see Selkirk go for the Commonwealth title at light middle which i beleive is vacant now Craig Watson is brit Welterweight champ Potential: Light middle domestically is a fairly so-so division and with Webb now the mandatory for European titles Selkirk could be right in the mix to pick up the British a bit further along the line. He is a big lad that could go up to middle at some point in the future and I wouldnt be surprised if he got a shot at a Euro title down the line whether he wins depends on how he develops

Has looked brilliant in his first 8, albeit against poor opposition. He is arguably Golden Boy's best young prospect, but he still has a lot of maturing to do. At only 19, he is being touted for big things. The recent success of fellow young prospect, Saul Alvarez, will give him hope for a successfull future of his own. A fight with upcoming prospect and former Freddie Roach fighter Jose Benavidez could be in the pipeline for a few years time too. Last fight: A UD win over Jose Alfredo Lugo. Frankie dominated every round, knocking Lugo down once in the 3rd on his way to victory. Who you want him to fight next: Any one half decent. The kid is still growing, and improving. He should pace himself career-wise. Potential: He has the potential to be a very good champion and fan favourite. I expect big things.
