Agreed proper bellend outside the ring...the trouble is the posters on here blur the lines between in side and outside the ring
People over rate Froch that's fact.. Yes his resume is good but best in Britain for over 30 years?? Get real.. He has only fought the best in the division once and he got beat.. He also lost to Kessler and won a very tight rematch. He was lucky in a couple of fights lost against Dirrell and pulled it out the bag v Taylor. He was also getting his ass handed to him by Groves and in my opinion I judge that fight as a loss for Froch and even more so after his antics. The problem with Froch is people like you and Froch himself actually believe in all the hype around. Froch is one of the better British boxers of the last 30 years definitely in the top 10 but certainly not the best. Fact he has never been number 1 in his division!! If he's a all time great it shows how low our expectations are!!!
Very tough hardened fighter with a lot of determination who has thrown up some top nights fan wise wins & loses no doubt for me on that score. Enjoy watching his fights he has certainly added to the UK fight scene these last few years . Him as a person no not a fan but neither here nor there to me TBH his need to keep telling every camera around he is a multi time champion, warrior etc has become his mantra. He has made some great money keep saying a long, long road from Grandstand highlights Saturday afternoon calling out JC.He forgets where he was to where he is never take the public here for granted he has. The best of the last generation here no not by a long chalk.
Shock another jock digging Carl........he has fought the best, what else hasn't he done. He won the dirrell fight, even Jim watt agreed with that and he is froch biggest haters. A great win against Taylor like a Eubank v Watson sort of fight. He isn't an all time great but a worthy champ who has been in some great fights
I respect frochs achievements within boxing but I believe a bigger deal is made out of him than needs be..
You cant take it away from Froch for what he has achieved, but i agree with what you say. Although I do give Froch more credit for his come from behind victory over Taylor even though he was shot to ****. Apart from that your post is spot on :good
I really don't care for Carl "The Cobra" Froch. Mostly due to his personalty, I actually think its put on 'cause he seems so boring. The first time I saw him was the Andrew Dirrell fight. I thought he lost but was close enough for him to take it. What annoyed me was the "it was a man V a boy in there. It clearly wasn't that easy for him. Also the myth that he is always in exciting fights. Well I remember staying up to watch him v Arthur Abraham and Glen Johnson. Anyone remember those fights, no they were boring, maybe not Carls fault. Still he is not always in exciting fights. Then the George Groves carry on. Again this is not really Carls fault but the way he acts after is awful. He says the most stupid things for love and attention I just can't take to him. He may also have the worst jab I have seen. Sorry Carl whoever you fight next I hope you get beat, take it like a man. More people may like you for it.
that is superb Froch is a bit like a politician , he keeps saying the same things over and over and over and in the end the majority believe it... he has the general population thinking he has wiped out borderline superheros when really he has beat some pretty decent fighter, lost to a couple of good ones and had a few lumps of luck.... he had me almost believing he has only 1 defeat because he avenged the Kessler defeat !!! i almost fell for it! all said and done though he has had a really good career and put on some great fights with the limited boxing talent he has ,if Hatton had his determination and discipline he would probably atill have a belt now..
