**The Carl Froch GOT smoked and GOT A GIFT Express!!!**

Absolutely correct. There are still far too many fans who think Froch looks easily beatable but are yet to realise that he he's actually very difficult to beat.

He was a world class amateur, winning bronze at the Worlds, and undefeated as a pro so clearly his attributes(punch power,toughness,excellent chin,desire,heart) outweigh any perceived faults in his style(low workrate,poor defence)

Everyone can see Froch's limitations, he just wont go down and stay down, that's his great strength. I thought the opposite though when I watched the last fight again. First time I kind of thought Froch was about 5 rounds behind but the second time I think he was only 2 maybe three behind. He still needed a KO of course, but closer than on first viewing.

 

Froch may very well be the weakest boxer in the Super 6. He is going to have to rely on his awkward style and power to KO his opponents if he is going to advance. He is quite capable of this though. I question whether or not Dirrell is seasoned enough to handle Froch's style. But I am very intrigued.

 

and Arthur Abraham had his jaw broken by the first puncher he faced, and Kessler lost to first quick opponent who was willing to press the issue, and Dirrell and Ward are one handed, Ward has nearly been knocked out and more than once Dirrell has cowered and taken a knee when cornered

you can pick holes in anyone. right now it is "trendy" to write off froch because he didn't look polished or dominant in the taylor fight. while he won he showed some vulnerabilities, therefore the poster shows "intelligence" in predicting his downfall. if froch beat slick tricky fighters in taylor and pascal - the most exciting of the light heavy champs - why should andre dirrell be such a tall order?

froch won away from home, injured, in the taylor fight. will a 100% dirrell be able to handle the occasion -and froch;s power and persistence - in froch's hometown. dirrell seems to be a "moody" fighter and you just don't know which dirrell will show up.

 

yeah and brian magee and tony dodson will beat him in rematches. after all magee is trickier and dodson more well schooled.

in fact everyone will beat him in rematches.

Khan can punch,can Dirrell ?
Froch is a Predator who wants to decapitate his opponents.Kotelnik is feather fisted and trys to outwork his opponents.

 

Not saying Dirrell is a KO artist but he does have failry decent power to keep his opponent honest.

 

I think Carl Froch will hold his own in the tourney and can win it. Kessler might stand in his way.... Can not wait for this to start... people should give Froch a little more respect as lets be honest he had a bad fight against Taylor, he will have a better fight against Dirrel and stop him in the 5th..

You cant base it on one performance. He looked alot better when he beat Pascal, and you ignore some of his other performances too.The taylor fight i thought Froch did better the 2nd time i watched it than i originally thought, although he didnt look at his best and taylor made him look bad in a few rounds. Froch is going to pressure Dirrel around the ring before TKO ing him in the 10th.:hat
