Judah was considered one of if not the top welterweight out there before the Baldomir upset, so Floyd took them both out rather easily.

Pac fought Oscar 1.5 years after Floyd, drained him down to 147 where he hadn't been in 9 years, and you're critical of Floyd's spot picking?

Look at Manny fighting guys after Floyd's dealt with them. The new P4P king fighting guys coming off big loses or viewed as past their prime. Pac has been groomed and his tires pumped up a bit by Arum, Roach et al as a guy who is worthy of the fight with Mayweather. Floyd should not agree to the fight at 50/50 split so we should all thank Floyd for being so generous and accomodating to us fans as this is the fight we want (or have been steered towards by Arum). :yep

Great thread. You made a lot of excellent points that I feel have a lot of truth to them. How could Floyd NOT have a chip on his shoulder, the way everything he does gets attacked?

Good post. To be honest, only boxing diehard fans who don't like Floyd hate on him. When the general public is asked about Floyd, they say he is a fine fighter. Only the diehard fans bring up dirt that the public doesn't know or care about. Floyd doesn't give a shite about his critics. He does care about his fans...

Yes I think Mayweather has justification for the chip, the mans 40-0.

Never hid the fact that he boxes for the Money,& the legacy ,the "0".

Only a handfull of long time champs fought anybody & everybody & they

    are atg`s.

Thing is you can`t ask for respect you gotta earn it

Mayweather aint getting the passion of the public without showing more

    passion between the ropes.....

After the DLH and Hatton wins, I dont think floyd has much of a chip on his shoulder anymore. He's so rich I doubt he cares what a few forum douchebags say.
