The myth that Benitez won easily against Durán, when in fact he caught holy hell and was brutalized on the inside to the point he was never the same again.

The newly minted myth that Harry Greb was a clean fighter.

Cocaine must be a helluva drug, to kick in all at once on the very same night you just happen to fight the best opponent of your career. Odd how often that happens, wouldn't you say?

I was able to track that punch to round 7. It was a good punch, but Walcott took it like a champ and fought on.

If you think he lost that fight then there's precious little point in talking about this with you.

Spot on. Julio was clearly on the way downward for anyone who actually watched him since the Mario Martinez fight.

He wasn’t quite the same for most of his reign at 140 as he was prior. Even though that was where the Chavez brand was created, basically.

He was still every bit the dominant force leading up to Whitaker as he was in his 80s peak. Just a hungover version.

I found this which explains things quite well and definitively.

This was great. I never saw it before. I thought it was around 71 seconds of an interval, but they said 65 seconds. Myth exploded.

Walcott lost 1st Louis fight. JJW felt Louis power 9th round, didn't like it and ran away the last 6 rounds.

Chavez deserved the nod against Whitaker. He won more rounds but not as emphatically as the rounds Pea won. A bit of a robbery of Julio. His streak should have continued.

I believe that, joe was probably scaring a lot of fighters at that time
