On the "This is it" bill, Cleverlys opponent suffered a cut that didnt look too bad and didnt have blood running into his eye, yet the fight was stopped.
In the Groves/DeGale fight, Groves and DeGale both suffered what looked worse cuts and Groves had blood running down his face that wasnt cleared away until at the end of the round by his corner. Now I didnt think any of these fights warrented being stopped from what I saw (though admit I am not looking at the respective cuts close up), but did it all seem a bit double standards to you.
Remember when Barrera suffered a terrible cut (in the first round) against Khan, and instead of stopping the fight it was let to go 5 rounds where the fight could go to score cards after 4 completed rounds.

Do you think there should be some sort of new regulations when it comes to cuts to make all fights fair? Im not a doctor and couldnt say exactly what, but it does often seem like double standards in what gets stopped and what is let to go on

Different refs. That's really all there was to it.

I understand that, but just look at Barreras cut to the cut that Cleverly opponent suffered. The range in difference seems crazy sometimes

Seemed an odd stoppage by the ref in the Cleverly fight, very odd indeed. The fact he didn't even consult the doctor was what shocked me

Didnt see the Clev fight, but I agree with the scandal of the Khan fight. My boxing coach predicted what would happen before it did.
