Well anyone with any boxing knowlegde what so ever knows that Andrade would win against fighters like Bika and Manfredo! So one mean journeyman you got there!

Agreed Andrade is a slow puncher at the world scene, but relentless and a constant pressure fighter. No one other than Kessler could manage to shut this guy out for 12 rounds!

And I say again no one in the top 5 wants to get in the ring with Andrade if they have other options. He is just one tough ......

Ehmmm.... Anyone trying to disagree with Kessler having world-class accuracy is eighter blind or just plain stupid!

And his footwork is highly underrated by many. They way he settles himself for his incredible accuracy is mostly due to his sound footwork.

Calzaghe is going to get tagged all night coming in, by the best counterpuncher in the division. His swarming tactics wont be that effective against a fighter who is a constant moving target.

This fight spells trouble for Calzaghe... And he knows it!

You can add me, I suppose. I believe in Joe's ability and considerhim a favorite to win, but I'm not much for bashing and trash-talking. You guys can handle that department.

John, I have a question for you. I lived in Newbridge for a long time and there was a little rumour that Enzo placed a big bet on Joe to win in a certain round (I think it was possibly against Sobot) - do you know anything about this?

    I am a Kessler fan

The problem with all of these discusions is that most of the posters in here are to biased to acknowlegde the other fighter.

A lot of posters makes attempts at analyzing the fighters, saying they have done so being unbiased. But that is never the case.

One problem I have with all of the Calzaghe predictions for an easy win, is the fact that Calzaghe has to get on the inside, and against the best counterpuncher at 168 and the most accurate puncher, this is going to be a tough task. No matter how fast you are, this means your are going to get tagged!

Same goes for the Kessler fanatics:

Kessler is not going to win of his jab all night.

Anyone who thinks Kessler is going to win this by an early KO is not sane!

A member of this express will be a Calzaghe fan even if he loses the next fight or the one after that. I have seen enough of Joe to know he has nothing to prove to anyone except himself I guess. I lived in Newbridge most of my life and was watching Sportsnight at the ABA's one year and heard about an exciting kid called Joe Calzaghe from Newbridge. Small little Newbridge. His old gym was right next to my school. I stayed up to watch him fight and have been a massive fan ever since. Didn't start going to watch him box live until the Eubank fight (I was 16 at the time and a few of us went up on the train.... Joe was onboard (a nice train anecdote for the express!))

Detracters of this express seem to be Kessler fans who yearn for Kessler to have fans like this.

I agree PrideOfWales, longtime Calzaghe fans have been through a rough run considering all of the problems, but they are without a doubt the most loyal in the sport(look at China Joe!:D) and the payoff lately that we have recieved is incredibly satisfying. Our favourite is on the verge of finally being recognised universally as an all time great fighter.

I'm on until the end. He's the best fighter I've ever seen in my era.

You can train for 6 years for a fight with Calzaghe and still not match his speed.
