    From where did Otto fall?

He wasn't ever a top 10 heavyweight. He beat Gassiev who is awful as well. Downfall? What downfall.

I agree with you, but who could have expected that he wouldn't win a single round against Chisora?

I felt his level was always flattered by facing a one eyed Fury. I don't think Fury struggles with Wallin at all without the cut and Wallin was able to build a lot of that loss

Wallin was never the same after AJ broke his face.

How can you have a downfall if you weren't ever really in the mix? :watchout:

Wallin had solid fundamentals and was a decent enough boxer but he had no heart or real will to win. He was also afraid to sit down on his punches which just gets you no respect in the knockout division.

He could've won the Chisora fight if he was an actual warrior; but that just isn't who he is. He'll be forgotten soon apart from the occasional time someone sees him as a footnote on Fury's and Joshua's resume.

Downfall implies that there was once an ascent. He was called out for cutting Fury and that was it.

The thought of them rematching each other never really crossed my mind but now that you mention it it would've been great to see Gassiev right that wrong. Sirenko hits hard but Gassiev, especially the 230lb or more, could just as easily HL reel KO Wallin like that if he caught him clean with that huge left hook or a sequence of shots

Yeah, he impressively reached up to rank 5 according to the TBRB before Joshua destroyed him.

Wait, what his Otto's best win again? Still a decision over Gassiev who has done nothing?

Maybe Otto sucked this whole time and was simply a prop to give Joshua his first "top 10 win" in a long, long time.
