Eddie Chambers can and will do great things at HW. He's always been the fastest or one of the fastest in the division, but when he made the stupid mistake of moving down to CW, he became "Slow" Eddie Chambers because a smaller man will of course be faster. At HW he showed great handspeed and coordination in beating guys like Thomas Adamek and Sasha Dimitrenko, who are fast themselves. Eddie was poorly managed. Vitali Klitschko wanted no part of Eddie (because he fights just like Chris Byrd), and Eddie's team never realised it. Instead of pursuing Vitali, they caught the bait and accepted the Wlad fight instead, which was a stylistic nightmare for Eddie (remember, Wlad destroyed Chris Byrd twice). Chambers would beat a lot of highly-rated fighters like Tyson Fury, Kubrat Pulev, Chris Arreola, Bermane Stiverne, Tony Thompson and Robert Helenius. I especially think Chambers would knock out Helenius and Pulev. He should definitely chase those guys. Thoughts?
His new trainer Peter Fury said Chambers is supposed to gain about 25 pounds. If he does so so, he's done!
He's not doing anything at HW.. at CW I thought it would have been possible for him to become a champ but seems like it ain't either.
Peter has only 3 fighters and they are all at HW and he dosn't want them fighting each other. He should keep him at CW.
I think he can adjust to cruisers but he probably would do more money as a heavy weight. I'd like to see him against Wilder.
Chambers honestly looked better at around the 220s fighting the heavyweights. I know that fight with Adamek was fought with one hand, but he just didn't look that great at 200lbs. Looked weaker and not even faster than when he's weighing more. He's just as fast at a stronger, higher weight. Just because he's not as big as some of these other heavyweights, doesn't mean he can't beat them. he's already proven that.
Chambers was easily outboxed by Povetkin. Good fighter, however he gets beaten by Stiverne, Pulev, Arreola, Fury, Browne and Chisora.

Vlad knocked Chambers out cold, I thought he was dead! Chambers looked better at heavyweight, but I think Vlad's brutal knockout of him ruined him.
I really doubt his comeback will be any success. He is on lossing streak, and to be back he would need at least a couple of decent wins... difficult task if you fight once a year.
Would have liked to see a Chambers Vitali match, Vitali would have won, but it might have been. And no, VK didn't duck him, everyone was saying Johnson was the same stylistic nightmare and VK went on to have a dominant victory and one of the highest punch outputs in HW history. Also, Adamek beat Chambers, don't give me that robbery bs, it was a fair victory by Adamek. Maybe if Chambers hadn't injured his arm it would have been different, it was definitely a close fight, but a solid narrow UD win for Adamek. Anyway, apart from mopping up those inaccuracies, Chambers will be an interesting fighter to watch. Smallish, over 30 HW's who just came up from unsuccessful campaigns at lower weights don't usually do good. He was a top 5 guy at his peak, but right now, I think he'll be used by rising contenders to beat and add to their resume. Chambers Chisora would be interesting, and would probably fit that bill.
