Even if it is confirmed 100% that he did use this weight loss suplement, or what ever it was called i havent read into it in great detail. What harm is the man doing seriously, its not like hes a massive JWW using this to cutt massive amounts of weight to gain an unfair advantage. Hes old, small and out of shape for the weight division that hes fighting at. Whatever he has used will give him no advantage in the fight what so ever, for people to bracket this is the same box as steriod users is a joke.
I was one of the first people to make a thread talking about how athletes (Morales) should be responsible for what enters their bodies this despite the fact i'm one of the biggest Morales fans on here yet i'm irrational for not thinking a diuretic type drug is going to cause a small old bloated Morales to inflict brain damage on his younger stronger brigger opponent atsch
Yeah who cares if he gains an unfair advantage by taking a banned substance? And who cares that the commission hasnt done **** to stand up against cheating in the sport. Its not like this is the first time its happened. Boxing welcomes cheating, as long as there are only minimal amount of drugs in you, its okay :yep
Did you see the weigh in? did you see his stick figure arms? Morales has managed to maintain the same skinny arms he had at SBW just with a bigger midsection, now I get what you're saying about the dangers of fighters roiding but i'm pretty sure in this instance Morales aint causing no long term damage to Garcia.
Plain and simple: Even though clenbuterol can be used for losing weight, it is a PED, and a very powerful one at that. It is fed to animals(in some countries) so they can quickly build lean muscle(leaner meat instead of fattier meat). So pretty obviously, to me, it would most likely have a similar effect in humans. Athletes have been taking this stuff for years, and getting caught cheating.
The only damage Morales would do to Garcia if he were to win, and that is a really big if, is to Garcia's pride. Period. And no, I don't think Erik Morales should be granted a pass if he knowingly took this drug or whatever it is. I've read a few threads concerning this issue and I'm literally on the fence on this one.
I don't believe the substance in question is "just a diuretic". A diuretic makes one lose "water weight"(so to speak). Clenbuterol does much more. It makes one lose body fat and build muscle, among other effects(increase aerobic efficiency, etc). It is a PED, in every sense of the word. A super one at that, sounds like.
Morales This content is protected for us ALL tonight. [Even the Haterz] (Don't you wish your favorite fighter had half the SAC Erik has?) ^Answer: **** YES.
