I will give it a shot. Three weeks ago I was thinking of quiting for good, then I thought I would just switch to the classic forum and could still talk to guys like Brooklyn, Pea, and Mcgrain there... but there are some posters here like kg who doesn't post there who I would like to keep up with. The general forum wears on me. I was even accused last night of ruining it or something like that. So Saturday nights alone after big fights may be a great idea. Saturday nights and only Saturdays from here out, and the classic forum other than that.
People were mispelling it like crazy! Not sure why, because most other strange usernames, people get right!:huh
I do. Once the avatar bet with Dorf is over, I will change my avatar to a picture that will make the meaning unequivocal. ("Bear" was the name of my dog. He died recently. Changed my name as an act of remembrance.)
Right, lads! I'm off now. See you tomorrow at 10 pm UK time (5 pm EST) in anticipation of Mijares v. Munoz et al. :hi:
I will post in here, but im an addict and dont wanna change lol. I did my withdrawal already. I need my fix
If the Saturday thing is what some want to do, who cares, I'll come on when I want, it's not a big deal. I feel the best discussion's would be missed out on by limiting a time and place, I also want to hold my will power to a higher level than restricting myself to a certain time. Plus, Magnum will soon start posting here again, who'd want to miss that? We're all going to become boxing analysing geniuses off of his posting wake. I learnt something new just talking to him for 5 minutes on MSN the other night, was glad to see he sorted some things out. EDIT: I also garauntee you that this doesn't last long for most who agree to it.
This may be true for some. But its not a big deal to leave a forum. You just fill the time doing something else you are in to.
Nah, what I'm saying is that an outright leave is easier, a 'I'll just come here at this time' leads to wanting more conversation, which leads to slowly coming back more and more for it. None of it is a big deal, people make it into a big deal. If I have absolutely nothing to do and want to sit here and talk up a storm about boxing for 2 hours on any given time, it doesn't matter, it's not a waste of time if you get some form of entertainment and good conversation out of it. I'm about to go to sleep here. I'll be back on tomorrow sometime after the fights.
