Looking forward to this :happy Dyah Davis - one of the few boxers I've actually seen fight live before
Here's the updated early schedule: http://espn.go.com/blog/dan-rafael/post/_/id/689/friday-night-fights-returns Kim is fighting former Ricky Burns opponent Yakubu Amidu!
Why is Dyah Davis a significant favorite in this? 1/2 on? Not that I've seen him like, but a quick scan over formlines wouldn't suggest he would be. Alfonso Lopez put up a pretty respectable performance against an albeit shite version of Pavlik.
Davis is the 'home' fighter and pulled off an impressive upset against Marcus Johnson recently :think
Okay, he's at home. I see. Marcus Johnson though? Guys probably ****, I'm not overwhelmed by that. Davis has some rather unimpressive results on his ledger.
Because from watching Davis you would think he is evidently the superior fighter in just about every aspect, the reasons he usually comes up short are his own fault, due to his own lackadaisical nature of allowing the fight to pass him by, not working enough, etc. Watch Davis, then watch Lopez. It's clear who should win, but Dyah seems the type to screw himself over when he's favoured.
Seems like it might be a half decent card at first look. Gonna try and stop up but I've been flaking out early all week.
Sorry, but jumping off the bandwagon. I'm gonna' be Sky+ing the series and will only stay up live for a select few. **** The Coach as well :good
Not long left now :happy Good write up Jpab knew I had seen Williams somewhere before and that was a great KO
