The ball is in Mayweather's court now.

Will he man up and take the fight with Arum's reasonable counter offer?

Or will he continue to try and weasel his way out of the fight?

My money is still on the latter.

The Gaurdian is a credible newspaper (it has a left wing political leaning but that's nothing to do with it's sports coverage and it is considered one of the quality broadsheets in the UK).

The story didn't say that Mayweathers camp had accepted Arums compromise though, just that he'd offered one and they expected a deal to be reached. The only difference seems to be that Arum is no longer saying the fight's off and everyone knows he talks **** anyway.

I do still expect it to go ahead myself though.

Fights usually fall through over money disagreements or over date/location disagreements.

Being they both agree on money, date and vegas I doubt the fight will be called off. Its just promotion, they will work out the details.
