mayweather was so boring but he's so damn skilled i just want to see somebody MAKE HIM FIGHT and not let him runaway.even if he doesnt lose as long as he makez an exciting fight i'll be happy
it was a mismatch sparring session/tune-up fight, what did you expect? How many times can mayweather dupe people into buying his crappy fights?
I love Floyd's skills, but it was pretty embarrassing watching him essentially run from a guy he could fly-swat at will as much as he did. The truth about Mayweather's keep-away, safety first tendencies has been exposed finally and completely once and for all.
jmm actually landed a few good right hands early, but they had no effect because he's a featherweight. emanual stewart said it well - that's why we have weight classes
Floyd fights are all dog****, he safety first both in the way he picks his opponents, and then the way he 'fights' them in the ring. He's a cherrypicking mother****er.
Yes, it was a mismatch. However, that is what you get when a guy who is good at the latino/asian level steps in with a truely good world class fighter. Because few peoples can grow as small as these latinos they big themselves up to something they really isn't. I have always said that a guy like Hopkins would do a Pavlik on Marquez for sure. The thing is that America and Europe doesn't have a critical mass of these small dudes - and therefore the latinos can just pretend to be p4p fighters all of them. Marquez was exposed - and in general the lack of international competition at the smaller weights was made evident.
