he was out and done...no question... i dont know why its even being discussed unless it was just the 14 seconds or so left in the fight...... bad stoppages take a look at calzaghe vs byron mitchell, calzaghe vs manfredo...mayweather vs manfreddy...tua vs rahman, tyson vs mcneely, tyson vs savareese.... i mean this in no way was stopped early and im a huge advocate for letting big time fighters in big time fights the benefit of the doubt....taylor went down from a barrage....wobbly and the ref let it go agaon...and hit several more SOLID times, the last one just totally had him slumping down and eyes rolling...... very good stoppage......
Completely Legit. Taylor had just been knocked down and looked hurt, and he was clearly out on his feet, he was getting hit with everything, and there was still 17 seconds left. Had the ref let it gone on further Taylor could have been seriously damaged
Flat out, Taylor was ****ed. I was amazed he got up from the first knockdown. He had the same look on his face when Pavlik thumped him. Good call.
