I dont even think it was that he beat Jones and Hopkins but more the manner in which he beat them. Calzaghes hands were terrible yet he went up a weight and had Hopkins hanging on, looking for time out and holding when normally down the straight is where Hopkins is the stronger until he was dominanted by Calzaghe and with Jones, it was all down to skills as Calzaghe was closer to the end of his career than both Hopkins and Jones and yet a shot bloated Calzaghe dominated
