I'm a huge fan of Pedro. Definitely one of the most exciting Cubans to watch. He is not ready for Abdusalamov though. If he can somehow pull off this Win I'll rank him as the #1 Cuban. Even better than Gamboa. Tough fight isn't the word.

Yeah I think Pedro would do REALLY good at Lightheavy AND Cruiser. He shouldn't be at Heavy though. It's not like he even bulked up it's mostly fat. Pedro has a lot of talent and I think can give trouble to anyone in the 175 and 200 Pound division. He's in against a killer. I've seen Abdusalamov do some serious damage, you can even check my earlier posts I hype him up pretty good. The guy is super talented hell the whole country is. Azerbaijan in the World Series Of Boxing were kinda like how Cubans are in the Olympics. Abdusalamov's basically using Pedro as a tune up fight look on Boxrec he already has a date set up at Madison Square Garden for the following month. The fight that should've been made is Luis Ortiz vs. Abdusalamov. THAT could be one for the ages there.

Oh yeah Sullivan Barrera looked great today. He sparred with someone that helped Jermain Taylor get ready for a fight before. The sparring partner told me when he found out he was Sparring Sullivan Barrera he looked him up on Youtube and got the impression that Barrera was slow. The guy told me though that that definitely wasn't the case. He was surprised as hell once he was actually in there with Barrera. Said he had a rougher time in there with Barrera than he did with Taylor. . . Yuriorkis Gamboa was there today working Barrera's corner with his father and other coach. Gamboa and Barrera are best friends. Gamboa even has a hand in Barrera's promotional contract.

The Nevada Athletic Commission has revoked the boxing license of former world champion Joel Casamayor after he tested positive for marijuana following his KO8 loss to Timothy Bradley last November. The 40-year-old Casamayor must pay a fine of $10,000 and may not request a new Nevada license for 12 months.

I think that our best prospects are Ugas, Barrera, R Barthelemy, Solis, M Perez and Franco.

Casa should retire , no wonder he looked slow against Bradley. I wouldn't even pay that $10000 if I was him , I may need it . Peace .
