So I was in Osmiri Fernandez's gym a few days ago and on his laptop I watched 6 Rounds of Sparring between Kadel Martinez & William Gonzalez. I must say, I was really impressed with how Kadel looked. Kadel had a couple hundred fights in Cuba and it shows. There's some wear and tear on his face. The guy got a Majority Decision in his Pro Debut but if you look at 2 of the scorecards Kadel was winning 40-36 40-36. Now that he broke the ice I'm expecting this one to go pretty far. . . . . On a more trivial note, lol, it was the first time I've ever seen someone spar in a collared dress shirt ahahaha!

That was a good fight! Both fighters showed heart! I would like to see a rematch.

 

I wish so bad I could but they keep their stuff super private they don't give video out in fear of it hitting the internet.

 

It's a really stacked gym. Osmiri is training Cuban's galore! Kadel Martinez, Yoandry Salinas, Inocente Fiz, Pedro Rodriguez, Yasnay Consuegra, and the ultimate ultimate: Luis "El Mercedez" Ortiz!

You guys are funny and stupid at the same time, where do you come up with that i dont like cuban fighters. If there are so many good fighters why only have one thread about them.

I would think that each fighter would merit his own thread and fans that dont know much about them will learn.

Do you see one thread about all the puertorrican fighters, mexicans, filipinos, russian, english. No you see multiple threads about the different fighters and their fights.

But hey if you feel like having a 500 page thread is better then keep at it.

Wow, that is by far one of the most awesomest finds EVER! I went to see what you're talking about and man oh man what a gold mine! 4 Rounds of Luis Ortiz sparring Oliver McCall. Even better it was put up over 2 months before Luis Ortiz turned pro! What a find!

 

Mr Puertorricane, Why do you use all that energi on cuban fans ? This thread works good for us. Instead of 25-30 threads (one for every unbeaten cuban fighter) we put all of them here. Often 5 or 6 cubans fight on the same card and it would be stupid to read a different thread for every one of them. This thread keep info over every cuban that join the pro-rank.

 

Why haven't I seen most of these guys? Don't the bigger guys fight in Europe?
