I don't give it a thought (why would I give a ****?), but if I had to guess ... you would be posting a little less on ESB and spending a lot more time with your Joe C. poster getting sticky ... that about right?
Just got more Gary Lockett fights # 1 Gary Lockett vs Yuri Tsarenko 2 W10 # 2 Gary Lockett vs Ayitey Powers W 10 # 3 Gary Lockett vs Micheal Monaghan 2 KO 3 # 4 Gary Lockett vs Gilbert Eastman KO 1 And all I can say is Lockett is a good fighter, fast hands and very good power but on the other hand he does not fight that well going backwards and tends to bust up.:deal
He is a typical Sports Network fighter (Calzaghe excepted), in that he is given a padded record full of chumps with similar styles, therefore never getting sufficient experience to fight at the top level. His best win for me is over Ryan Rhodes, who was only really an overblown 154lb'er - world class at 154 IMO, but not even gatekeeper level at 160. I don't see him winning because he lacks the skills to outbox Pavlik, which would be his only chance, because he ain't gonna outslug Kelly.
Rhodes probably is fringe world class at the moment, given the division. It's a division of prospects and old ass Forrest, he could compete with most no doubt
Yes, bearing in mind the lack of quality in the division at present. If 154 had the depth of, say, 130, 135 or 147, my assessment would be very different. Gatekeeper perhaps?
Boo, have you seen the hype clip for this fight at hbo.com/boxing?? It's pretty easy to find. It's "amusing" to say the least. They also have 2 new articles up today, that I found fun to read.
Yes Lockett is a little smoother then Zertuche and hits harder but I think Zertuche is a more rugged fighter:bbb
