Lets not go overboard. MW is a horribly weak division at the moment and Lockett is lucky if he's top 20 in it.
That boxing writer doesn't know much about boxing if he calls Pavlik a "bum" for fighting his MANDATORY opponent! It makes me wonder how a bum like that gets a job as a writer for CBS.
About as logical as Kessler thinking he can beat Calzaghe was. Calzaghe is poison for the Pavlik style of fighting. While the money is there, being beaten by a guy who is on his final leg before retirement won't bode well for his future.
Pavlik-Duddy would've been a brutal destruction, one of which that would've ended John's career. Not to mention Pavlik can't control Duddy getting cut up against that guy he faced.
Well Duddy is more well-known than Lockett without question. Though I believe Lockett is a better fighter than John.
John is an honest banger. You get what you get with him and I think he's underrated in a sense because he's not afraid to take a shot to give a shot. Get him in with a better trainer, learn some defense and you've got the makings of a superstar. Hell, he packs Madison Square Garden without fail, it's a highlight of the year to be at his St Patricks cards
They say, my friend, that when Pavlik goes to take a dump he has to throw his "man meat" over his leg so it doesn't all hang in the water.:deal
It was the infamous "they" everybody always talks about, I swear. Besides Pav is proud, he doesn't mind any ways.
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl I had to come up with something good, after I saw the first post I quoted from that crazy guy, TFFP.:yep
