This is exactly what I was thinking. For me the shocking judging has totally killed Ryders career, it's going to take 18 months to 2 years to get another title shot and that is providing he can pick himself up from this, get the fights, as he's probably seen as too much of a threat to most now, and of course win them. Ryder will be 33 in 18 months, it's too late for him, I hate to say it but it is. BJS isn't going to give him a shot and even if he did he'd f**k around for ages, even with Hearn on the case, plus is Hearn willing to put his other 168 belt holder in with a threat like Ryder, someone who isn't seen as a name who could potentially f**k up a big Vegas date for his fighter? I don't think so, two dodgy decisions against Ryder on his cards in World title fights would be too suspect, surely? This is when I hate boxing, good people getting screwed over, this story could have been beautiful, exactly the sort of story that draws you into boxing, that makes you fall in love with it. I remember my nan showing me a tape of Tyson v Douglas and her explaining to me what Douglas was going through before that fight, what he was up against and how nobody gave him a chance. Last night wasn't on that scale but it's a similar fairytale ruined through corruption.
