I don't read anything that has to do with PPV and purse splits.

    I don't care about it.

You sure cared when you THOUGHT you knew what you were talking about...when you THOUGHT Pacquiao was some sort of PPV king...then you were shown the legit numbers and you got mad:rofl...I'll quit picking on you man...I gave my analysis on the top 5 fighters you mentioned.

Kirkland has a glass chin and Canelo is clearly not ready at this point. Forgot who the other guy you mentioned was.

Angulo poses 0 threat to Floyd..Canelo would be a bigger threat than Angulo btw:deal Khan would be a bigger threat than Angulo too.

I believe that with one or two more fights and if he develops a better jab Saul Alvarez has what it takes to beat Mayweather.

I think the problem with this thread is that it ignores weight. FMJ is NOT his best at 154. The fights we should be looking at are at 147 or highly regarded 154 pounders which FMJ just beat the most skilled of the two. I also don't think we would ever see C class fights out of FMJ so the rest of that list is pointless.

Speaking hypothetically using your same logic? Ward is the most dangerous. Crazy? Well why are we talking about Martinez who can barely hold at 160?

He has what it takes, but he will need to up his work rate. That kid just doesn't punch enough. If he is punching at this rate now? In five years what?

So, what you're saying is that Floyd only picks on the weak players at 154?

How did you come to that BS conclusion?

I should have figured out how dumb you were when you listed Angulo.

I agree witht the theme of them being his hardest fights. I would put Lara, Alvarez and Kirkland over Williams though. The more I think about Martinez though the more I think he plays into Mayweathers hands. He isn't a pressure guy, he isn't going to out box Mayweather, he isn't a volume guy, A lot of the stuff he lands on the slower guys he fights aren't going to land on Mayweather. He relies on his athletics though to be his defense. So if Mayweather proves to have the hand speed to offset his athletics then his defense will be vulnerable. Mayweather on the other hand has strong overall defensive technique.

What's up with the personal insults?

I don't know you and you don't know me.

I do KNOW that Floyd ducked Margarito. Angulo is a southpaw Margarito who's bigger, younger, and stronger.

That's a bad style for Floyd who as you said, is a small 154 lb fighter.

But what I construed from what you said is that Cotto must have been weak because if Floyd isn't a true 154 lb fighter, he has no business at that weight unless he picks on a weak fighter.

    Am I wrong?

If not, then Floyd has a belt, and he might as well defend it against people in that division.

And Angulo fits the profile of a guy that will give Floyd problems. Floyd doesn't hit nearly as hard as Cintron, and he can't outwrestle Angulo either.

Angulo is much bigger than Floyd, he's relentless, he comes at unorthadoxx angles, and he has accumaltive KO power and in some cases one punch power.

On top of that, Floyd can't hurt him.

So if Floyd really doesn't have his legs....

(If he had them like he used to, he would have kept Cotto in the center of the ring and in his words "made it an easy fight," but that's not what happend.)

So if Floyd doesn't have his legs, Angulo is a nightmare matchup.

I didn't say Floyd wouldn't win. You have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

But Khan is a weak as in (not strong at all) 140 lb fighter that brings nothing to the table except speed and would get knocked out.

But you also got to put Martinez size in the equation as well.

Floyd has never fought a tall, counterpuncher with a good jab in his entire career.

Cintron out wrestled him and kept him at bay with his power.

Angulo would have been stupid to just rush in.

You think he'll have the same problem with Floyd?

That's like saying Floyd would knock Margarito all over the ring because Mosley did it.

You think that **** makes sense?
