The THomposn fight wasn't boring, maybe you should follow another sport. May I reccomend wiffle ball...................
Wlad is safety first fight. I don't think that is really up for debate. People who don't like his style don't have to watch his fights. But, either he's going to ko the guy or get ko'd himself (sultan southpaw fear aside), so to me, that isnt boring. However, I would have won a lot more money on the fight if he'd taken him out in round 6 so I'm not going to defend him too much
I don't know how any "boxing" fan can sit there and criticize a fighter for outboxing and dismantling an opponent until he's no threat, then going in for the kill. I mean isn't that what boxing is? Chris Areola is a very exciting fighter but is he a great boxer....absolutely not! He was almost taken out by Travis Walker because he lacks actual skill. can he be good yes is he no! Listen this isn't a Rocky Movie it's not about taking as much punishment as possible while still winning! The basis of Real boxing is hit without being hit...That's what Ali did minus the rope-a-dope and that's what Wlad is doing... He's not winning boring decisions he knocks out almost everyone he fights and because he has complete control of the fight he's called boring it's insanity... When you throw a punch that hits your opponent so hard he staggers backward that's a power punch and if you can do that with your Jab that's something so congrats to Wlad and here's to many more Masterful boxing matches
Haye is morre exciting because he's not as good at boxing, doesn't have a powerful jab that keep keep opponents away AND could get KO'D at any time. Why would that make him a better fighter than Wlad? I remember a couple of years ago on ESB EVERYONE was begging Wlad to unify. He's trying and could succeed, but all we hear is how boringt he is now?! Think before you speak and give him a break!!
I was very impressed with Wlad, he has an awesome jab, it's powerful, quick, and precise. To my mind if anyone is to beat him they'll need to take that jab away from him, and that'll be a very hard task to do. I don't think the crowd were booing Wlad, i think thay were booing Rahmans lack of response. But as i said, i was very impressed with Wlad, he picked his opponent apart and fought the fight entirely on his terms. Brilliant.
