He is trying to get some money. Everyone wants to fight Vlad. I want to fight Vlad, not because I think that I can win, if I can convince enough people that I can win we will make money. If Vlad doesn't get together to fight povetkin than he can fight Haye in the Fall for around 15 to 20 million a piece.

    See that's where you're wrong.

If Wlad fought & KO'd Haye tomorrow the boxing world would simply say Haye wasn't a TRUE Heavyweight.

In other words, the fight is a bit of a no win situation for Wlad RIGHT NOW.

After Haye fights & possibly beats a few serious contenders like the winner of Tua vs. Arreola, Dimentrenko, Gomez, Chambers, Ruiz, Brock, etc.

Then he would be considered a TRUE threat to the title, especially if he looks good doing it or if he could KO the un-knockoutable Tua, McCall or Sinan Samil Sam. Those feats would put him first in line.

The easiest path to a Klitschko fight is getting at least 1 belt of his own obviously...............

I'm all for a KLitschko vs. Haye fight straight away but don't you dare say "Well Wlad only KO'd him because he wasn't really ready yet, like the Peter fans are saying now about Wlad's fairly easy UD.

Like I said, if they make the fight tomorrow & Wladimir prevails don't dare pull the "he wasn't ready" card cause I won't buy it then.

Common sense says that they should fight after Haye has proven his mettle against at least 2 top 10 Heavyweights & Bonin was never a top 30 regardless of what the WBC ranked him at the time.

See that would've been okay but Haye opened his mouth & said he wanted the best & his first fight would be against a top 10 guy. He made his own rules & now he has to live by what he said, right?

I would've thought a intro HW fight against Rahman or Maskaev would've been okay except he said he wanted a top 10 guy................

I'd like Haye to fight at least 2 top guys as well before taking on Wlad. That's his plan anyway, have two 'tune-up' fights and then take on Wlad middle of next year. That's assuming he doesn't get knocked out in those fights.

I think he is being loud specifically to draw Wlad into a fight. He knows Wlad doesn't really have to fight him right now so maybe insulting Wlad can get him the fight. Plus it seems to have worked, cos the last time I heard Wlad he said "haye needs to be taught a lesson."

Haye's also creating a lot of interest for a potential fight. You may think he's just a loudmouth but he didn't shoot his mouth off to get a shot at Mormeck. He fought a couple of WBC top 10 guys and got the mandatory position. Haye is being clever and is already selling a Wlad fight to the public. He's got everyone talking about him and Wlad.

I actually give Haye credit for what he achieved at Cruiser and I give him props for bravery. The man has zero class though. I mean to confront Wlad while Wlad was on his way to a charity event is not only selfish, it's completely void of class. Then he said he was going to confront Wlad at the Thompson fight............I mean "The Haye show" just never ends...........:-(

Zero class. At least Ali made it funny & ****.

True but I seriously doubt the purse will be anything close to a 50 / 50 split since Wlad has belts & Haye has only a mouth.

I agree it got people talking but like I said, he could've done the same with class & by proving he's up to the task by KOing some of the Heavyweights in route to that title shot right?

Agree that that would be the better way to do things. Now he has run his mouth he MUST perform in his next fights. There's no excuses for him now.
