ward is 31 and unified his division awhile back....and hes fought two guys that were top 20-15-10 p4p guys at one point.....ggg is 33 and has neither....whether its his fault or not....iiwii....unifying that 160 division really means ****....the division is weak and everyone already recognizes ggg as the best 160 lber....having the "lineal" title will do nothing to help him achieve superst@rdom ...fighting and beating top p4p fighters will

anyone implies anyone...not just froch and chavez.....thats what ggg said...thats why hes getting called a duck....did floyd say "anyone at 160".....did ward say "anyone at 175"? ward has just begun testing above 168

I am pretty sure if Gennady were black and knocking out all of these TOP 10 and some lower guys, they wouldn't be calling him Wilder. They would probably be calling him "Kid Dynamite" or "Iron" Gennady Golovkin.

3 or 4 years ago, when Gennady said that, he had no drawing power, s****om or options. I'm have no doubt he would've taken a fight with any big name fighter 154-168. The situation has changed. GGG has options and more to lose. He is also in the divers seat, so IMO there is nothing wrong at all with offering to meet Ward halfway at 164.
He has repeatedly said, much more recently, that his goal is to unify the middleweight division. That's Wards tough sh!t. He can go rematch Pail Smith or go get KRUSHED. It's triple Gs world, Andre is just orbiting around it.

devon...he has 1 fight, off a long layoff, above 168...and it wasnt even at the full 175 limit...so stop acting like ward is some career light heavy....just stop with that nonsense

you guys arent boxing fans....you like fighters and youll let them get away with anything if you like them and make excuses...but for others guys its no ok

 

i actually dont have inherit biases....and im not saying you personally have ever used the term....but it gets thrown around here alot....by the same people who defend ggg...but call others cherrypickers....im a fan of the sport...im down for anything as long as its fair and reasonable

im a white male from rhode island....and im a big floyd fan......i dont care about color or races...i just want good fights that are reasonable and fair....

you cant tell me ward isnt a big name in the sport.....is he a huge draw or ratings bonanza? no...but hes still one of the biggest names there is....and the "offer" made to ward from k2 was a terrible joke...it said no way do we want this fight.......i dont even blame them....they have a shot at canelo.....but dont even make the offer in that case....it looks like a joke.....you say one thing and then ward comes calling and it becomes "he wants to unify....ward isnt even a big name....hes not gonna risk the canelo fight by fighting ward"......ward/ggg is a big fight in the sport and it will sell....

is it unreasonable for ggg to fight ward...to move up on division when ggg has a been a career mw? i dont think so......k2 is conducting gggs career just like any team would...they are carefully crafting him to be a star......hes beaten nothing better than b- level fighter so far......even the talks of big mw fights for him like cotto and canelo are against smaller guys moving up.....his division is just weak overall and its not his fault.....i just want to see him challenge himself....even in a loss to ward i wouldnt knock him...id prob give him just as much props as if he were to beat ward.....i know ggg is good....hes good for the sport too to a large degree....i know hes the best mw out there.....i just wanna see how good he is

i see people who are fans of him bashing other guys way too much..other guys who have proven how good/great they are over and over....and its a joke to call yourself a fan of the sport if yer gonna knock a bunch of guys and give ggg a free ride
