well what is to say ben johnson only juiced up for one race,he got stripped of his medals and banned and this is what should have happened to roy,a cheat is a cheat
he was caught out taking anabolic steroids that is fact which ever way you slice it,wheter it was for 1 fight or 50,we dont know because he wasnt tested for all of his fights but one thing we know for certain is that he did cheat which suggests he did before he actually got caught and would have been happy to do so till he did get caught
I'm not going to argue with you, I'm off to bed. You can't say that it's a fact that he was juiced up against Ruiz. How could Roy have been stripped? How were the circumstances the same? Never mind. Again, it's just you speculating. Talk about something factual, and I'll reply to you tomorrow.
James Toney - green Bernard Hopkins - green Virgil Hill - nobody John Ruiz - cherry picked worst HW to ever hold a belt Reggie Johnson - average Jorge Castro - nobody Thulani Malinga - nobody Clinton Woods - euro can that started boxing at 25 Antonio Tarver - lost all 3 fights in reality Eric Lucas - can Mike McCallum - 40 years old with a ton of wear and tear, still gave jones fits Montell Griffen - 5'6 LHW tomato can, 1-1 with jones Otis Grant - average Julio Cesar Gonzalez - average
Please enlighten us how was Toney green at 44-0 and the defending IBF champ in which Jones moved up in weight to challenge him ? It's clear YDKSAB!
I want Roy to be the best ever with Pernell but he cant and why? Lacks superfights and great fights. He was probably the most talented fighter or one of the in the history of boxing.
"No HW is tailor made for a 34 year old LHW." Generally speaking, that's probably a fair statement. In reality, Ruiz was a smaller heavyweight at 6'2" and around 225lbs. He was generally regarded as average in almost every aspect, bar punching power. On the other hand, Jones was still very close to his best, having been thoroughly dominant in his career up to that point. He wasn't shopworn, still possessed his unnatural speed/reflexes and had carried his power with him up through the weight classes. Come fight time, there was a 15kg (max) weight and 3 inch height difference, which isn't huge. So what we really have is a smaller heavyweight of average ability, plodding up to a lightning fast, prime light-heavyweight who I have acknowledged elsewhere in this thread as being thoroughly dominant for 15 years. In the context of Roy moving up to heavyweight, Ruiz was tailor-made for him, no question at all. To answer your two questions: 1. None that I know of. 2. None that I know of.
roy jones is known around my way as 'bum feaster roid' he would only get that name if he feasted on bums and too steroids
I'll second that. Also, if James Toney wasn't such a slouch, and actually had some work ethic, he would have beat Roy (actually if he wasn't such a slouch we would be having this debate about him).
You should try to be funnier with your trolling. This is pitiful. I dont mind trolling as long as its funny.
What actual facts have you got to hand? It's pure speculation on your part that he roided all of his career, and was juiced up against Ruiz. There's nothing more to add. I wouldn't mind if you'd have said there's a chance, or it's likely etc? That's fair enough. But don't try and pass your thoughts off as facts.
