He doesn't get nearly enough credit on this board, JCC was a true master of the craft, threw blistering combinations with sick power, had a granite chin and a good tight defense. Not to mention he pushed fights. He didn't just beat tough fighters, he beat them DOWN. Def one of my favorite fighters.
I don't think KT is overrated. It was just past JCC's time in that fight. Nobody really gives him credit for beating JCC, nor Oscar either.

I just got off the phone with Roger and he said himself that if Chavez was good he would of taken him out a lot faster than 10 rounds.

for a good number of years, this guy was the real terminator. i havent seen any other fighter punish opponents like chavez did. he could hurt you at any range and your punches just made him mad. the guy was indestructible. the quintessential tough mexican boxer puncher.
It's not like Kostya Tszyu wanted that fight. He has plenty of other names on his resume. If you want to blame somebody blame DK.
Chavez one of my favorites, Taylor and Rosario were never the same after fighting him this guy was a body snatcher with probably the best hook to the body I ever seen.
