Is Andre Braugher intense enough to play Kenny Bayless in a blockbuster biopic? This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected :think
Bayless is about the best doing it right now. The thing I like MOST about him is that he is actually in shape enough to stay the hell out of the action until he NEEDS to be in the action. Nothing is worse than seen some old out of shape ref attempting to "shoulder roll" then "monopoly step" himself out of a heated exchange and watching fighters break momentum because of it.
He's an actor. I'm sure he could FAKE the amount of intensity needed for such a role. However, I wouldn't feel comfortable with him in the role until he's spent some time riding sidecar with THE REAL Kenny Bayless. If Forest Whitaker wasn't such a big oaf with a lazy eye, he'd be perfect. He can be quite intense...:think
Real talk with the third man in the ring, Kenny Bayless. He's a no-nonsense individual. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUR75KX-014[/ame]
