The Khan Obsession : From Murray To Mayweather

I have noticed alot of ridiculous things being said about Khan over the past week or so. Basically from a potential fight with John Murray to a potential fight with Mayweather Jr.

Joe Gallagher:

"The Khan rivalry is one that’s not going to go away. It’s got the potential to be the biggest British fight in years and it’s one we want to make happen."

Joe seems to think that because Khan lives 15 mins away from John Murray, Murray is entitled to some kind of domestic showdown which he further compares to Sugar Ray Leonard -V- Marvin Hagler, Murray being the Hagler from the mean streets of Manchester and Khan being the olympian Ray Leonard:

"I see Khan v Murray like Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler.

"Murray would be like Hagler - the hard worker from the streets and Khan is the golden boy."

Khan is levels above John Murray in talent and ability its not even funny talking about a domestic match between John Murray and Khan.

Then on the other extreme you have the Swiss banker Richard Schaefer dreaming about Khan -V- Mayweather Jr.

"If we can't make Mayweather-Pacquiao in the spring it may be too late," Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer was quoted as saying on the Daily Mail website. "So this gives us time to build Amir into a pay-per-view superstar in the US."

Khan is not ready for Mayweather Jr, Not today, Not three fights from now, Ive seen some people saying things like Khan has the style to beat Mayweather, Which is a joke. Khan is not ready for Mayweather Jr.

Does anyone else see the two extremes here? I know he is the hottest thing in British boxing but please I think everyone should be realistic, Khan is too good for Murray, Mayweather is too good for Khan.

Khan has a solid fight in Maidana, Lets see how he does and people should not get ahead of themselves.

So my question is how does Khan go from being potentially matched with a domestic bum in John Murray to a match against an ATG Multi-weight, Multi-time world champion in Mayweather Jr?

got a feeling he's trying to throw people off his scent. I mean who opens an account and decides they will go to task over John Murray. I mean this guy has issues with Murray and comes across as another Khan Defence League Super Hero.

 

Rain man is that arse hole who was on here a couple of months ago, hes the same tosser who said john murray represents everything thats wrong with england calling him a chav and then he stated that khan did the right thing moving off to the US as the uk was way too racist and was basing this on a beer bottle being thrown at khan after the salita fight, i forgot the name of the original username but hes the same alias
