7th title fight John david jackson (former junior middleweight) :huh
8th title fight - undefeated glenn johnson- very good win
9th title fight- andrew council ?? who? :huh

13,14,15th title fights , echols, vanderpool, echols again... :huh
16th Trinidad- great win, great name....but not a great middleweight...may have 1 win at middle, against joppy
17th title fight junior middle contender Carl the squirrel daniels :huh
18th title fight - dont laugh- Morrade Hakkar - hes not even on the level of the "squirrel" (yells at roy jones on the same card and trying to hype a fight but ends up fighting :rofl

21st title fight, KOs fat middleweight and former light weight champ oscar de lahoya who had recently come off an ass kicking by felix sturm in his middleweight debut
22nd title fight- Howard Eastman- akward but legit opponent 40-1
now i start to give him much deserved credit
23rd and 24th fight Jermain Taylor- wiin or lose, good opponent, boring fights
25th antonio tarver- jumps to 175 and kicks his ass...all the props to that
26th goes from fighting a true light heavy to a tru junior middle in winky...winky great name, great boxer, not a middle or supper middle or light heavy :huh
27th title fight Joe Calzaghe- props for the fight being made. i thought bhop lost...sorry, im american and i dont think he did nearly enough...no way
28th title fight kelly pavlik - legit win, undefeated champion, powerful, and bhop simply embarrassed him....and at 43 years old...

lot of title fights....yes...alot of **** ones too......in my opinion, he won alot of fights where the other guy shouldnt even have been in the ring with him...and alot of great fighters he could have been in the ring with, he managed to not fight them, primarily in the 80s...for whatever reason...but thats a fact

Im still waiting for those links. You and many other muppets on this board categorically stated Don king would have options on who Haye fights.
Cmon Rico a man of your skills can at least provide a link or a source where it states that Haye has to fight Valuev AFTER Ruiz and that King will be choosing the opponents.

Haye is one of the most exciting fighters out there, but he's done jack **** for the heavyweight division. The Valuev fight, I've said many times was a great gameplan by David Haye, and he won that fight easily, but to say that he's brought excitement back to the division is untrue. It was a crap fight to watch. It was good marketing, he got the casuals on bored, but after they saw his performance, they must've thought "why the **** did I pay £12.99 (or whatever the **** it was), for this ****?".

totally agree, he aimed for the marketing of a tyson, mayweather, or Ali won over the casuals and delivered about as much excitement as a quiet walk in the park

True, but lots of casuals werent disappointed because of the freakish size difference and they saw a little man trying to beat up a big freak. To them it was entertainment of sorts.
Haye has crossed to the mainstream in England. Thats whats more important than the quality of the bout.

He did go mainstream but how long will this effect last? Can you see the casuals getting excited about his fight with Ruiz for example? I'm not so sure. I could see it if David had knocked Valuev out in a spectacular performance, but after that pretty un-exciting fight? Not that I blame David for fighting the way he did. Boxing on the backfoot is a legitimate part of boxing, and the sooner people realize this the better.

What he did do was prove he belongs at this level. In the future he could still shock the heavyweight scene by beating a Klit, but I believe its a tall order, and he hasn't created much long lasting buzz yet.

His wife is very hot though. She's got that classy, yet "I can be a freak when I need to be" look:yep She reminds me of a girl I knew in college.

Because its the 1st time most people in England had seen Haye fight.Only a tiny percentage of people in the UK follow boxing. If you asked the man on the street to name 20 british fightes in the last 10 years you would get Khan,Hatton,Calzaghe and then theyed be struggling. However the pubs and clubs were rammed for the Haye fight as the whole David vs Goliath thing caught the public imagination. You could now add Haye to that list of 3 and he would indeed now sell out Wembley!

I completely agree. The ideal move now would be to get the Ruiz fight on freeview on a Sat night 10pm slot like the old days of the big fight live.
As big a fan as i am, im not going to PPV for Ruiz v Haye.

You are correct sir but i don't think that any bout involving Valuev is going to be any different no matter who fights him. In this case it was a chess move to get the belt and possibly a KO if it came along.
