I iffy there, Rahman didnt have the best of chins, and I belive if Burns hits him with a good shot, he have the chance to knock him out. I think if Lewis can lay Rahman out cold like that, Burns has a good shot imo.

Rahman was 6'2 230lb, Burns was 5'7 168lb. He would get manhandled by Rahman, thrown around like a ragdoll..First right hand Rahman lands, Burns would be done.

Jack Johnson ring a bell? Firemen Jim can at least hit.

Burns has a proven chin imo. Saw one of his last fight were a shot old Burns gets stop, and the guy landed almost everything on poor Burns before the Ref stop it. Burns is a tough guy.

I think the Johnson fight more than proves Tommy's grit.

Jack Johnson knocked burns the **** out, and could have done so whenever he pleased. Burns should be embarrased.

Let me guess, the guy was a C level bandylegged supermiddleweight who did more farming than he did actual boxing?

It proves Jack Johnson could have bent Tommy Burn's over whenever he wanted. Burns was helpless due to Johnson's size and strength. Can you imagine what he would feel like against Hasim Rahman

Well lets look at what that leaves us with.

Hart was obviously a puncher who applied constant pressure.

Flynn was a puncher if nothing else.

    Lang was a puncher.

    Squires was a puncher.

    Moir was a puncher.

Even if some of these guys were little more than Commonwealth grade heavyweights, they were heavy punchers.

I think it can safely be assumed that Burns had an exceptional chin for his size.

    Pure speculation.

If as you say Burns did not fight big punchers, then the doubt by definition cuts both ways.

Johnson didnt knock Burns the **** out, in fact, Johnson could not put Burns down for the ten count. The fight was stop. Johnson was not going to knock Burns out any way imo.

Burns could possibly beat Braddock. I think Rahman would beat both.

You cannot expect any facts or subjectivity from him ... just emotional outbursts and incomplete , distorted rambles ... good for laughs ...

HE, I've read enough of your work to know where you're going with this!!! Very mischevious!!!

However, I must say, I believe Marciano WAS exceptionally strong for his size/weight...a force of nature indeed...

Anyway, back to the topic at hand...
