UFC current rate for fighters is $37.50 and a TAPOUT headband.

The janitor at that fight is a Union worker and will make $120,000 that night.:thumbsup

This fight is looking worse with every new interview/video. I wished the reporter had the balls to ask James about the photoshopped poster :yep.

im hopin for a shock knockout. only bad thing if that happens is a return fight in the UFC for toney in which he would likely get owned worse than he could get owned by couture. One thing is for sure though Dana white will be jizzing his pants. And all those MMA tapout t-shirt wearin homos will be pretty annoying and will bring up Toney's loos all the frookin time. What is really needed is an in shape tyson goin in there or somethin like that. Then a knockout win is inevitable, not a blown up out of shape middleweight.

Maybe if Toney loses - a younger fighter will feel inspired to make the transition into MMA? It's an unlikely scenario however as young fighters will neither be as seasoned as Toney, nor as popular and if they are popular in boxing they will probably be making more money boxing than they would for any potential MMA fight and therefor would have no reason to go to MMA.

Nah....James technique is still sharp and he's not shot. Too many folks are getting caught up in the image b/c James isn't a body builder. He never will have a chisled physique. Don't worry about James.....he'll be fine bro. He'll prove he's capable of beating MMA fighters with his performance....win, lose or draw.

With 4 oz Gloves James doesn't need to be a HEAVY hitter. Just accurate, well placed punches with the correct timing is all he needs to put Randy out. His technique is levels above anyone in the UFC and that is not debatable.

if couture stands in his range and is there to be hit sure...once he is pressing toney against the cage, or worse, the mat, and toney is spent after about 6 seconds, his punches won't have anything behind them, and if he is being pressed against the cage, or the mat, his punches won't have anything behind them

    couture by rear naked choke

Toney's knows how to time and place punches extraordinarily well. This fact alone makes him very dangerous in the UFC. He also knows that Couture can't KO him so that should allow him to focus his technical training on avoiding takedowns. I just wish he had been in shape before starting his camp.
