The LHW division primed for a Cleverly take over

Dawson's first defeat is exacerbated by his lack of activity since winning his first crown. I assume once his cuts have healed we will not see him in a rematch until early 2011. Cloud was hoping for a unification, but he has only fought once a year which hardly has helped his profile.

Froch has been mentioned as a Cleverly future opponent and his stock will have risen as his victim is sitting at the top. Pascal will be tied up with the rematch with Dawson.

Shumenov is this generation's Sven Ottke who I cannot see pulling out any trees. I suspect his promoters would not want any part of Cleverly

Hopkins is still the Guvnor, but I cannot see him risked against Calzaghe Jnr II

On the assumption he gets passed Murat hopefully he will be in FW pre-Xmas big show against either Brahmer, or the next available contender on the WBO list if Brahmer has been imprisoned.

Cloud would be my first choice for 2011. Then Froch in Wales post Super 6. Late 2011 he should be in a major 175 clash against the Pascal/Dawson rematch winner.

This makes no sense at all

He fought for a 'world' title in his 9th fight, rematched the guy straight after (even though he was outboxed for the most part) and 'won', then fought Uzelkov who was rated by many as a top ten light heavy. Plus, his last two fights were in the States. He is his own promoter, and I highly doubt he is a 'ducker'.

 

No, whilst I like the idea of Shumenov more than his actual fighting ability, there is no doubt he has got some serious balls and self-belief.

 

I glossed over that. Colin seems like a good guy, with his heart in the right place, but his threads are usually shockers. He needs someone to review them before he submits.

x2...Shumenov is the last person I would accuse of ducking. In his 8th fight he was crowned WBA LH champ wilst Cleverley was beating a 4-28 Armenian

 

He's a long way off at the moment. Murat is just another step up the ladder, take it easy...

 

Cleverly will be badly exposed soon enough, like all British fiighters who aren't Hatton, Haye, Calzaghe, Khan or Froch or some of the other fighters I am forgetting.
