The division does need new blood. Dawson-Tarver will be a good fight. Jones-Calzaghe too. Hopefully we'll get some future lightheavies or at least some guys from SMW to move up a division

Yeah the Ring title is becoming garbage to me, especially the way these guys are going on about it. The Ring titlest are the weakest in their division from 135 on up, except for 160.

What other British guy made a living on beating wash-up fighters or fighteres whod took a beating before they fought him: Lennox Lewis. Beat a washed up Tyson and Holyfield and a Razor Ruddock who had 2 wars with Tyson. If McCall doesn't go nutso, he probably gets him. Even got a gift decision against Ray Mercer.

I think Vitali vs Peter will be exciting. I also think Wlad vs Povetkin should be good with one of them getting KOed.

Because Hopkins and Calzaghe are the current and former champs yet between them they've only fought eachother and one other 175lber atsch

I don't think it's a joke because joe is pretty much at the end of his career. I will be watching this fight with my eyes glued to the t.v. set. I still think jones can pull an upset.

 

No one can compete with Wlad, except the fat golfer who knocked him goofy, the .500 trial horse who Wlad couldn't last the distance against,
and the mediocre heavyweight who sent Wlad into la la land.
