''I think it was better I did the training somewhere different than usual.I was in Florida for 2 months along with my staff,I trained very hard,I had an excellent sparring-partner.The sun did me good aswell as the beach and the salt water.All along this training camp all I thought about was boxing,I dreamed boxing so it showed.Looking back to what happened in the first fight everybody wanted to see the rematch and that was great for me since the fight was shown in American on HBO aswell in Romania.This was a gate towards HBO and already the people there are inteersted about my next fight.The next opponent isn't sure yet,there are several options,Kelly Pavlik,Bernard Hopkins,Edison Miranda and maybe even the WBO champion,Robert Stieglitz.I talked to my promoter before leaving and that I'm open towarsd any offers.I've reached a leevl where I want only big fights and want to unify the titles.Hopefully God knows I''ll come back hom with 2 belts next time.
There weren't to many hard moments in this fight but there was a lot of stress since this was a very important fight.To have 17000 people there and millions of Americans watching made the people rooting for me and my win very delightful.I was very emotional at the press conference when Andrade started crying.He's an excellent guy,very well mannered,proved it both times we fought.I will certainly remain friends with him and if he will train in Montreal again I will help him nad root for him at his fights,because he deserves it.
Like usual mom will surely wait me with ''sarmalute''(traditional food) amd everything specific the holidays.This year the pig will be cut at Busteni on december 20th with the mayor,mr Savin.I will try to stay with my family a lot since 2 of my 4 sisters are in Italy and this will be the first time in 2 years when I will see them.Probably for New Year we will rent a caban in the mountain and party there.I already have my gift in my recent win.''

i hope Bute doesn'y eat to much sarmalute and keep his weight under 190lbs :rofl

I'm really looking forward to see who will be his next opponents , we didn't see much of Bute in 2009 only 8 rounds of boxings so i hope 2010 will be a good year for him! Hopkins,Pavlik, Miranda Green bring them on!!:bbb:bbb:bbb

 

Unfortunately i can't see any of those fight happening . Hopkins want's Danny Green because he beat RJJ(Quote: I can see the promotion now! Can Danny Green do the same thing to Bernard Hopkins that he did to Roy Jones in Australia? That’s it! Let’s ****ing see it!) and he gets the same money that Bute can offer or maybe more + he goes up to cruiserweight he fights for a belt and by going up in weight get's closer to a match with David Haye (IMO he's nuts :nut - but he may be serious about that) . Bute is far more dangerous than Green . I give 25 % chances for Bute vs Hopkins
Now Edison Miranda or Robert Stieglitz ....why would they choose to fight 1 of the best supermiddleweight; maybe Bute can lure them with money but still they probably will want a easy opponent next then i think it comes a mandatory so this way pass 1 year . Any of those guys may want to keep the belt for few fights and make some cash out of it and maybe just maybe after those fight go for a BIG 1 ...Unification . :-( Bute vs Miranda / Stieglitz 15% chances.
Kelly Pavlik ... Eventually Kelly will move up in weight, but for now, he's going to stay at 160-pounds . He may want Felix Sturm or Paul Williams before he steps up . Bute vs Pavlik 5% chances
And for the rest of 55% is Bute vs Journeyman :bart

Interbox & HBO met this week to discuss Bute's next fight.

InterBox et HBO ont discuté de Bute

(Newark) Le président du groupe InterBox Jean Bédard assistait au match du Canadien, mercredi soir au New Jersey.

Au terme de la rencontre, il comptait bien aller serrer la pince de Martin Brodeur, l'un des porte-parole de la Cage aux Sports, que dirige également M. Bédard.

Mais il était surtout dans la région de New York afin de rencontrer les gens du réseau HBO afin de jeter les bases d'un gala mettant en vedette Lucian Bute.

Les discussions, encore préliminaires, ont été qualifiées de très positives.

Idéalement, le groupe InterBox voudrait présenter un gala sur le prestigieux réseau américain au Centre Bell, et ce, dès le mois d'avril prochain.

Même si le Canadien accédait aux séries, la Ligue nationale pourrait très bien structurer son calendrier éliminatoire en en tenant compte.

Cela s¹est déjà produit dans le passé pour le compte d'une soirée de combats ultimes.

«HBO a mis plusieurs scénarios sur la table et chacun d'eux implique Lucian, a mentionné M. Bédard. C'est très encourageant, je crois qu'il y a de belles choses qui s'en viennent.» L'impression qu'a laissée le gala de Québec impliquant le boxeur roumain semble avoir été très favorable.

«Je sens qu¹on entre dans les ligues majeures», a confié M. Bédard.

 

In the past few days Lucian honored the offer of mayor Savin and went to Busteni to partcipate at the Christmas holidays there.
Lucian and the mayor passed on gifts to kids in the city aswell as in Pechea(Bute's birth place).
''There were a few great days here but I have to reach Galati to help mom cut the pig aswell.After 2 weeks of holiday I will be back in hell meaning training.'' said Lucian.
