I think that fight depends on whether Bute does a "Hatton" and accept a lower share to get his name and face out to a wider audience.I appreciate it's easy to sit and say this, but he has to face that not being in the S6 will cost him a bit of juice in negotiations.I think it would be worth it if he's sure he can win.Again though, easy for me to say.

I agree. For what it's worth, Bute's promoter said Bute was eager to make less money to be able to fight outside of Quebec and to face bigger opposition. I think it was in the Bute-Kessler/Pavlik/Johnson saga era.

So I guess money wouldn't be a problem for Bute, but then again, what can we believe? .. lol

Well, should Froch win he'd be the unified and ring magazine world champion of the SMW division. I don't care what either Kessler or Bute says, he'd deserve the lions share (60-40ish). Anything BUT that and he should decline their offers.

BUT, we'll see how things develop, I think he'll lose saturday night. He should then receive a fifty fifty against Bute should Ward not be able to make a Bute fight. :good

Yeah.I think the best move is Bute v Kessler with the winner fighting Froch whether he wins Saturday or not.
Ward-Kessler 2 holds zero appeal and this would be a good way for Froch and Bute to get together or failing that,Froch gets the chance to reverse the loss to Kessler if Kessler beat Bute.
I think I'm in the wrong place to suggest such a scenario though:lol:

    All your post is wrong.

Where to start :think first Froch wasn't an underdog , nobody knew about Ward and Direll at the time and not too much peoples was giving JT any chance.

Froch afraid of Bute? never heard of this one!

Initially, Kessler and Abraham were big favorites with Froch on third place.

Dirrell gave something like 16/1, Ward 10/1.

As a Bute fan, I would love this scenario too.

Great matchup but Kessler already has to face Stig so...
    Bute can't stay too inactive.

One thing for sure, no true boxing fan could dislike Froch as a fighter.

The guy has balls of steel.

that's what i was saying too.

So we agree nobody have Froch as a big underdog though?

He was a +850-900 dog. Hardly a favorite.

He entered the tournament undefeated with the WBC belt, he's a ballsy fighter.

But nobody here had him as a huge underdog like you wrote earlier , this the only thing i'm tryin to argue about.
