Edie Hearn is quoted by gsp.ro via "This is Nottingham"; he said that after long discussions with Interbox (took place this week), most probable Bute-Froch will happen early 2013 in Montreal

Damn Bute has balls to take the rematch i give him that, but if he loses, he should retire. Defiantly if he gets slaughtered like that again, fight Stevenson on the Pascal undercard, let's get rid of that stupid mandatory!

Sometimes a guy just has your number. Styles make fights. Bute still has fights in this division that are of interest and money makers. Well, unless fickle Canadians abandon him cuz he doesn't have his "OH" anymore.

Bute said that he felt weigh issues, that his time at is 168 is nearing the end. He should accept his defeat, and move on. Honestly unless Bute wins against someone like Stevenson, Pavlik or Dirrell no way he deserves a rematch, he got destroyed in the must brutal fashion i've seen in modern boxing.

Given the fight was in England,I doubt he'd have had too far to travel.

I'm sure the whole boxing community would agree that Froch was very lucky indeed.
He could've killed Bute that night.

Press conference tommorow at 14h30 . it look like Bute will have a fight before asking for his rematch agains't Froch.

Bute need to get back some confidence if he want to go back in the ring with Froch

I guess they'll give us a name ? Any idea who it could be. :scaredas::scaredas:

Do they usually insist on that detail or it's because he lost his last fight ? :think

The pressure is on Bute, he better face a live opponent (Stevenson, Dirrell or any of these top guys)
    2 Adonis Stevenson Canada
    3 Edwin Rodriguez United States
    4 Thomas Oosthuizen South Africa
    5 Lucian Bute Canada
    6 James Degale United Kingdom
    7 Mikkel Kessler Denmark
    8 Kelly Pavlik United States
    9 Sakio Bika Australia
    10 Glen Johnson United States
    11 Andre Dirrell United States
    12 Don George United States
    13 Rowland Bryant United States
    14 Librado Andrade United States
    15 Benjamin Simon Germany

^^ He has to face an top 15. opponent of the IBF ranks, right? :) There is a lot of bums to chose between

A bum would not do any good for Bute, even if he KOs him it would do nothing for him. It's between Pavlik, Oosthuizen, Degale, Stevenson, Rodgrigez or Dirrell.

^^If not any of these are chosen, then it would not be good for Bute, he is 32 years old and his first real step up in class was a disaster, in order to get him self in a spot where, we as fans actually believe Bute has a chance, he has to face a life dog. I'm sure a lot of his fans agree with me
