Retired over 7 years he has been, 23 years past his peak he is. Yet still countless posts about him, Countless videos on youtube about him. Often in newspapers he still is. Pub talk often about him.
Mike Tyson. There will never be another.

People forget that Mike absolutely lit up boxing when it was on a steep downwards slope. The four Kings were getting old,and the sport was lacking genuine crossover stars when Mike gave it a shot in the arm the likes of which has never been seen since.
That's why I forget all the **** he pulled, because he had the world talking about boxing in a good way,and young fans have never experienced anything like the phenomenom that was Mike Tyson.
Good to see fans of all ages appreciating him.

His star power at his peak in the late 80s was unreal. Some would say he was the most popular athlete on the planet at the time, even more popular than guys like Jordan. He was that big.

HUGE. You don't see fighters like him anymore. Supposedly fighters evolve, but you'll never see anyone like this guy again. Never.

I think the title should be '' The tragedy of Mike Tyson''.

His life and his career have been quite a tragic, but brilliant one.

I remember Mike for that stupid speed, power, defense, how light he was on his feet. I never payed attention to the other things. I think of Mike the talent. not the side show freak that casual fans see

People tend to forget the engineer behind Mike Tyson, Cus D'Amato created Tyson. If Tyson didnt have Cus he would not have that style we all love
