Groves bottled it.....In the last round before the stoppage Froch threw about 6 to 7 punches only 3 landed and they were not accurate but Groves dropped is hands and turned away and fell into the Ref' arms,he had no option but to stop the fight,Groves was going nowhere but down....

Pretty much everybody disagree's with you on that, including; the fans who boo'd (most were not Groves fans), fans watching on tv, pretty much anybody who has seen the stoppage, the governing body (hence sanctioning the rematch) and even Carl Froch himself.

Groves fought his best fight against Froch...who fought his worst fight against Groves. This time it will be different,Carl has Georges number and will walk all over him...

Maybe, maybe not. It's impossible to know but Froch looked his usual self to me - struggling with speed and movement then getting back into the fight showing fighting spirit and toughness. Even if that was Goves' best fight and Froch's worst, it is possible it will be the same again. At this point in their careers, Groves should be improving with every fight and Froch should be declining as he ages and takes more and more punishment but we'll see what happens.

99% agree its a BS stoppage, the disagreement comes from what would have occurred if it had of carried on.

I personally think gg was hurt and very tired and Carl would have finished him off. Mr foster robbed us of knowing that

    These are the facts :good

Not one person I've spoken, to not even diehard Froch fans think that was a good stoppage. Groves was fine imo and would have gone on to beat Froch

Good post as the saying goes knocking down and hurting someone early can be the best or worst thing to happen.George had him hurt and correctly having good faith in his finishing ability(a top class finisher)threw far too many power punches early.

However As a big groves fan who had a massive bet on groves both to win and stop froch I still believe theres doubts about his stamina. He looked exhausted in the 12 th against degale and While the stoppage was obviously premature he did look gone. That said froch wasnt exactly looking the best lol.

The biggest disgrace for me even worse than stoppage was the scorecards which when you takeaway the knockdown a round here and there and two of them practically had it an even fight,so they would have robbed george on the cards anyway.

As for this fight well I think its a question of was that the worst carl froch? And whats left?I thought he looked old against kessler aswell during second half of fight personally, however my answer im going with is I dont know thats what makes this fight so interesting.

As for the comment questioning froch chin!just wow lol
