***The Malik Scott v Glazkov Build-Up & Discussion Thread!!***

He is a tool, and unfortunately it makes taking this fight as seriously as we should difficult to do.

I get it.....I really get it. The whole poser deal with Scott, but he's in his 30s now, and time for childs play is over. I like going to the range just as much as the next guy, but I don't need someone taking pics of me half naked with my guns.

Scott is a MASSIVE talent. I know we dog him here for his lack of fighting and lack of competition lately, but the kid is as legit as they come. Think Byrd, Chambers, Haye. He may not be as strong as those guys, or as smart, but what he lacks in one dept he make up for in another.
And I don't buy the whole featherfisted argument either. He could punch earlier in his career, but he got complacent playing the slickster. If he turned and sat down on his shots, he could hurt a guy, but I think it'll take him being hurt before we see that.

This is a great fight between two bonafide top 30s. The winner will have one of the better wins between contenders on his resume, and against a fellow prime fighter. I think Glaskovs gotta have the edge in this one, but Scott very well may just rise to the occasion. I'm seriously looking forward to this one.:thumbsup

 

If Scott beats Glazkov, Im gona take back all the bad talk and take my hat of for him. With a win over a talented fighter like Glazkov, he can pose naked with a gun as much as he wants.

 

Probably the only interesting fight on the docket in the heavyweight division right now.

 

this is looking more and more like a 50-50 fight the more I think about it. these types of fights where you don't know who's gonna win are especially good for the HW division

 

I don't know about knocking guys out, but he's been sitting on shots and making them sting since coming back. Enough to get the opponents respect, which is good enough.

 

Scott looks like Tupac to me.

Glazkov is going to win every round.

I once had hopes for Mailk but the illustrated man really has no interest and is going to lose to a more skilled and much hungrier fighter.

 

This fight really serves a purpose. No need to talk about this tattoowannabegangsterintellectual after this fight. He can go on being a tool with his cigars, lame-ass tattoos and those awkward photos.........

 

Should be a great fight this one, there is a lot of potentially great fights in the heavyweight division if the prospects fought each other more often.

If Glazkov wins this he will be up there in the top 10-15 of the division.

Not being a smart ass here, but you do no that Glazkov is an Olympic bronze medalist who might have won gold if not for injury?

What is more, he has beaten better opponents at pro already.

So other than subjective judgments, what are you basing this on?

Nothing against Scott, mind you. If he suddenly serious about his career and pulls of what is undoubtedly at this point an upset, then hey, more power to the man.
