i think anytime you do ANYTHING outside of regulations to gain an advantage you should be banned for life. **** it, you know why people keep cheating n **** like this keeps happening? the punishment is never enough, taken too lightly by others.
A 3 year ban would probably be enough to make sure he's never involved in world title fights again. If he has to fight at a lower level to make a living after that I don't really care as long as he doesn't try the same **** again. He should face criminal charges as well IMO.
lifetime ban. **** all the nuthuggers. cotto could have been ****ed up for life like mcclellan. only difference there benn ****ed his world up legally. i hope he gets sued, put behind bars, and so on and so forth.
i voted lifetime also, it ll be interesting to see how things develop now this is out- how Arum handles things, and whether HBO will even want to go near him. Whether his ban is lifetime or a year- i d say his career is effectively over- nobody will pay good money to see him - and reward him with a fight i think. shame on any promoter or network that would seek to profiteer from this criminal.
