The Margarito MYTH...HAS BEEN DEBUNKED!!!!

how can you make 24 pounds in two days? how is that possible?

 

I never say he is too big. If you can make WW you can fight there. And Ive said this a bunch of times. So why dont you take Margos **** out of your mouth.


It's the fact that you ******s say Floyd likes to fight smaller guys, even though Floyd is outweighed in nearly every fight. If you say Floyd is fighting smaller guys then what is Margo doing? He's bigger than most in the division.

 

Man, its not that he's too big. Its the fact that all he's doing is seeking smaller opponents and not facing the guy that beat him. I mean, if PW is too big for him, then he should say it, but he shouldn't then come back and be willing to fight Pac!

Its like a dog saying a lion is too much for it to handle, but then that dog trying to fight a cat. See what I mean?

 

So Quintana went 12 rounds with PTP and won but got ktfo in round 1 of their rematch what's your point. What a fighter does against one other fighter shouldn't only be gauge of a certain ability. Cotto also stopped Qunitana and Quintana beat Julio whose also a big puncher. Cotto also stopped Gomez who had to deal with much bigger opponents when he was on the contender and never was he koed. Shane has an excellent chin and just because Cotto couldn't stop him when Forrest knocked him down doesn't mean you should slight Cotto's power.

 

i don't think margo's aiming at smaller fighters, just that cotto happened to be the best welterweight in the world at the time. if margo was really ducking fighters his size he wouldn't of had rematched santos or fought pw in the first place. i don't think margo or pw are ducking each other at all, but just going for the best options they can get for the time being. margo also gave cintron a rematch, considered a huge puncher, so i really don't think margo or williams are ducking or afraid of any fighter

Basically. The Floyd fanboys NEVER made a big deal until floyd joined the WW division. As if he's any bigger then Tito, DLH, Hearns, Ike....atsch

 

wrong bro. he was considered the best, but he lost to quintana , so during that time cotto was considered the best since he had beaten quintana not long before. plus he was an hbo fighter, but if pw would of fought cotto and beaten him, than he'd be the man at 147 today no questions asked

 

never thought much of margarito before he beat cotto, but the "size" excuse is just clutching at straws.

 

Wrong. Williams' loss to Quintana does't get erased because he beat him in the rematch. Williams STILL lost to a guy who was lower top 10 (if even ranked), so his own ranking took a slide.

 

Margarito has never been "owned". Lost to Williams? Sure. Hardly owned though.
