Katisidis hardly arm punches with regularity, he only really arm punches when he flurries. Katsidis has a very complete kid of punches, inside and outside, he's not as predictable with combinations as say a Kessler (unless you think he's ****).

You also forget that we're not bandwagon fans, the Aussie forum has been following Katsidis for a few years now, through all the visa troubles he's had and the fights that have fallen through. we're just happy he's getting his shot so the UK fans, and now the American fans can see him, and appreciate what he brings into the ring.

Boxing has a lot of styles, don't be a snob if you can't appreciate a good puncher as well as a boxer. Valero and Linares are in the same stable after all, yet Valero is from Katsidis' school of boxing.

Masterful display ?.......as far as I'm concerned he shares some of the same weaknesses as Katsidis and although his attack might be classier(if obviously less brutal) he is easy to hit just like Katsidis(although not as easy) and can be backed up .

I fancy Linares to probably beat this faded version of Chi but a prime Injin Chi would back Linares up keep throwing shots and take whatever Linares is prepared to give back .

Anyway the more exciting fighters around the better and both Katsidis and Linares are good to watch .

BTW Thaxton would beat Ganoy .

Thaxton would have to box & move, coz if he trades with Ganoy its KO time.:mj
Ganoy is just as big a puncher as Katsidis, except even more wild.:yep

    you and me both bro.

i'm impressed by katsidis, tough, never say die all action heavy hitting warrior reminds me a little of nigel benn

amonsot was equally impressive imo, if it was a great fight it was because amonsot's toughness and heart made it great. seriously even elite lightweights would have caved in under all those hard shots. the kids recovery and toughness are unreal.

Well the Earl fight was different from the Amonsot fight so I don't see why he has to mention Earl. That fight lasted only 5 rounds with Katsidis not receiving the same solid punches that he received from Amonsot. :D

What i mean by this i think you must be new to this board.

We Aussie fans know of Rocky's flaws already.

What i meant by it all you cant enter a Michael Katsidis Express thread and be negative.

Thats my hole point. i dont think you get the concept of the Express thread. its for fans on board.

Not for Haters or people willing to breakdown Katsidis every inch of how he fights.

    EXPRESS= Fans, not haters.

That part of your 295 posts shows that what i was talking about. if your going to talk negative in an Express prepare for WAR.:D

It will be far from dull.

so what Dekkers you agree with this idiot.

That Katsidis is a **** level guy although he holds the WBO Interem Belt. Dekkers shame on you.
so you dont see my hole purpose to being on this board.
Iam here to defend our fighters when they bring them down say there **** and so and so.

because when we do the same we get hell for it. but im supposed to sit here and let our boys get **** from a nerd that sits behind a computer and probably hasnt even been in a fight before let alone in the Ring.

What the hell makes you say that!

I think Katsidis has holes in his defence, but I think he's extremely strong (threw Amonsot all over the place), an excellent puncher and has boat loads of stamina.

I think he's very good overall, and his fight with Diaz is the fight i'm anticipating the more than any other fight in boxing :smoke

i to cant wait for the fight with The Baby Bull.

But i truely believe Katsidis needs another fight before facing Diaz.

and i think Campbell is the perfect fight. Nate's 35 and on the slide, he is an american name, he has been beating twice by Peden who Rocky could ask to help him prepare.
plus i hear that Juan Diaz and Julio Diaz are in talks about a possible fight. so Campbell is the next best option for Rocky.

That feels like such a high risk fight considering he's got a guaranteed shot at Diaz. I think a fight with Peden while still dangerous (maybe not quite as dangerous :think) would also be easier to make.
