A Golota fight was bound to happen. Too much money in it for both sides to resist. Let's hope the crazy lug doesn't spoil Adamek's plans. Though I think Adamek is much better fitted to Cruiser than to heavyweight.
Adamek will win, his ring intelligence and strong mental focus will prevail. So far he has never been broken, he's had some close fights but always managed to pull through. Only Dawson was able to outbox him, but even then he almost stopped him towards the end. Golota will not stop him and that is his only chance.
I'm not so sure about that. I think Golota has a decent shot at stopping him. How many Golota right hands can Adamek absorb? I think that might be the biggest question in the fight.
You're better off asking how many right hands can Golota even throw. Honestly do you even watch boxing or do you just follow it like a circus act? Golota is going to lose late TKO / UD points.
Fair question, but he seemed to be delivering that right hand pretty well and with mean intent in the training video. He also seemed to have a bit more snap on it than he did against Mollo. At age 41, it is conceivable that Golota could suffer from stamina problems, but by and large, Golota's activity rate has never really been much of a problem. Well, either outcome is certainly plausible, but I am not convinced that Adamek has what it takes to: A. Carry his power up B. Handle the power of a big strong heavyweight C. Carry the weight well Even if he can't carry the power, has trouble withstanding heavyweight shots, and is slowed down by the excess weight, he STILL might have a chance to beat Golota. I am not lost on this possibility. However, if Golota has something left in the tank that is even CLOSE to what he had when he fought Mollo, I think he wins. Adamek is small by cruiserweight standard, and I am in no way convinced that he is best suited to be competing against heavyweights. I believe he should have remained at cruiser where I have no doubt he could have dominated for years to come. :smoke
And we've definitely seen Adamek stunned at lower weights...:think I don't know. I just think with Tomasz primed out and Golota well past shot, Adamek can't lose. Even if he has to scrape himself off the floor a few times. :yep
If memory serves, he was hurt several times against Briggs, once even dropped like a ton of bricks in the opening round of their rematch. Dawson caught his attention few times as did Cunningham. The two things that works in Adamek's favor with this: 1. He has a proven ability to rise from the canvas with an ability to comeback and win. 2. Golota is an AWFUL finisher You might well be right. As I've stated, I'm not overly confident in a Golota victory here. In fact, I'm starting to have second thoughts. Even still, I maintain that, at the very least, we don't know that Adamek can withstand true heavyweight power, and I tend to believe he can't. Whether or not Golota is capable of exploiting this IF I am right remains to be seen.
You make some good points Rumsfeld, but you have to admit that Adameks advantages seem to outweight that of AG. I believe the deciding factors of AGs fall will be: hes injury prone stamina question losing focus\frustration age\how much does he have left?
This content is protected Punch him in the bitchtits, Tomasz! They're at perfect elevation for your straight right. :happy
Golota's best days might be behind him, but Adamek's best days still lie ahead! GO ADAMEK!!!!!!!!!!!! :smoke
