National solidarity? Maybe it's just because we're used to American boxers fervently supporting each other - probably because there's such an inferiority complex in American boxing because it's hard for us to accept we're not generally perceived as #1 in the sport on a global scale anymore.
Adamek was a bit sick recently ,lets hope it wasnt anything serious , and he wont gass out in the later rounds, cuz thats exactly when he needs to accelerate and put the big six on the canvas for atleast 10 secs.
hahahah BIG one! Thx for information buddy! it feels even better when you know that team arreola wanted to avoid this fight!

i dont know about arreola but i saw the interview with his trainer and he Isnt stupid and knows how tough this pole is! But it has to happen! this is gonna be a megafight!
Arreola knows another loss, which is coming his way, will greatly hinder his quest to get another title fight.
Yeah, actually... there is ALWAYS some kind of dumb fight because we talk mad **** . My friends and I expect it. It's fun, because most fans don't know how to fight at all and if they mess with us they get beat down hahahahahaha

Just want it to be known im officially joining this express!!!!! Ive been liking him for the past year or so, but lately ive been looking more into him then before and hes just my type of fighter..... heart, toughness, ferocity.... i like his attitude as well, and ive followed him enough now where as i want to join the express lol. got a question though, ive only been able to check out a few rounds from Adamek vs Briggs 1 (namely the 8th and 9th).... and holy hell does Adamek have heart! what a beast! question though, i havnt seen number 2, but i see on boxrec it was about as close as the first, with adamek being down as well.... and just from what i saw of their first, briggs was really beating adamek up (i dont discount that adamek did enough throughout to get the deserved decision, but just from the two rounds i saw briggs was laying it on good) what was it about briggs that gave him so much trouble? i havnt heard much about briggs and dont know him well as a fighter... why did adamek have such a hard fight with him
Ziggy Rozalsky said that 10.000 tickets was sold and they expect up to 13.000 people in the arena:good
Oh man Briggs was a tough customer. Aussie is seriously underrated and overlooked as a LHW contender. If I'm not mistaken Tarver and Jones didn't want no piece of him. He was crude but his agressive style along with pretty straight accurate quick and sharp punches made him a dangerous opponent. Fight with him was high risk/low reward type of fight. One of the reasons of him beeing overlooked is his health. Fights with Adamek probably ended his career. He had problems with nervous system, he retired pretty soon after two battles with Adamek (he had a fight with some journeyman if I remember) so he couldn't test himself against other top lightheavies. In their first fight Adamek fought with a broken nose (he broke it in a sparring session before the fight) and was swallowing own blood. But nonetheless he was fighting his heart out, Adamek couldn't keep Briggs off and make a boxing match out of this brawl. Briggs was fast enough to catch Adamek with solid shots and hurt him (Briggs hurt him in the first fight but in the second the Aussie was a bit wobbly at times). The clue to awnsering your question is Adamek's ability to fight against certain type of fighters. If the Pole has a speed and boxing ability advantage he can stay away and counter, but Briggs just had enough of handspeed and was enough quick on his feet that he was capable of cutting of the ring and make a brawl. Having the edge in firepower his shots looked sharper and cleaner.
